Dominique Ware - player of note
While at the spring game I remember noticing an unusually short D-lineman whom I didn't recognize. I saw him on one of the mgoblue videos the other day and decided to look him up. The player, it turns out, is Dominique Ware, a 5'7" 248lb DT from Inkster who was a Detroit News all-state player his senior year of high school.
I point this out only because I've never seen anyone here mention his name and b/c I think any 5'7" 248lb DT walk-on is inherently likeable. Let's hope some games go so far in U of M's direction that this guy sees the field this year.

I hope some games go so well we see Coner in the game. Now that would be progress.

Leonard Nimoy: Well, my work here is done.
Barney: Whaddaya mean, 'your work is done'? You didn't do anything.
Leonard Nimoy: Didn't I?

Maybe we'll get lucky and he'll turn into another Donnie Warner....see Bo's Lasting Lessons for the reference.

props. Being 5'7 250, hes giving up almost a foot and 40-50 pounds on OLmen. I give it to him for being out there all day busting it when he isnt the most physically gifted.

when some players and coaches confuse him with the calf of Mike Martin.

He's one of many walk-ons not getting any notoriety. People are going to be surprised to see more walk-ons emerging under Rodriguez. If you can play you can play.
