I didn't hit the chain looking icon in the OP. I did in the reply.
December 30th, 2019 at 7:23 PM ^
Why would you ask someone that? Who cares besides you? Go to google and type in dobbins. Takes 10 seconds. Go play 2k and eat ear wax.
December 30th, 2019 at 7:58 PM ^
To his point...we expect so much from these players we watch (basketball and football) and we expect all the attention to detail, to help the machine (team) run smoothly. We should all realize our expectations of others and proceed accordingly, in every day life.
But also, who gives a shit.
December 30th, 2019 at 8:28 PM ^
It’s weird you say that about ear wax. I used to like the smell of ear wax when I was a kid.

I'm sure most buckeye fans do.
December 30th, 2019 at 7:50 PM ^
I do this often,so do many others.Sometimes when you post your original piece you add a link, then the link either doesnt respond or isnt the right size or whatever, then your only choice is to add the link or photos to the comments, because you cant edit the titles
December 30th, 2019 at 6:49 PM ^
That's good but they probably have 3 guys better than him waiting to take over
December 30th, 2019 at 6:52 PM ^
It seems that way in Columbus. All kidding aside - he was a uniquely gifted back that is not replaceable. Master Teague is all name, medium game.
December 30th, 2019 at 7:08 PM ^
So was Zeke
December 30th, 2019 at 7:57 PM ^
Is this a real thing? I saw this all over social media today and assumed it was a Photoshop. Haven't watched the replay. It has to be a Photoshop, right?
December 30th, 2019 at 9:18 PM ^
Nope it’s real
December 31st, 2019 at 9:24 PM ^
What is it?
December 30th, 2019 at 6:53 PM ^
I dont see it. The other one they played mostly was Teague and hes more of a bruiser. Ohio St let's their young players play.
December 30th, 2019 at 7:10 PM ^
You’re correct, he’s a N-S bruiser who is a good back, but a major step back from Dobbins.
11W still believes 2020 will be the best OSU offense ever, lol.
December 30th, 2019 at 7:25 PM ^
Why wouldn’t it be? Justin fields in year 2 as a starter with an offensive line that was young and inexperienced this year (part of the hope for Michigan being better was the osu line being mediocre) and a really good wr crew being backed up by what is maybe the best wr recruiting class of all time. All it takes is for a rb to be even good and they will likely break all kinds of records. Hoping for anything else is just being an optimistic Michigan fan
December 30th, 2019 at 10:34 PM ^
Well, we here generally say next year’s team is better than the current team.
You may recall our Basketball team was 6-0 when an OP was launched claiming the 2020/21 team will be better!
December 31st, 2019 at 11:17 AM ^
And MgoBlog believed this was Michigans season to finally win the B1G East. Lol.
December 30th, 2019 at 6:53 PM ^
What an absurd statement. If they had "3 guys better than him waiting to take over" THEY WOULDN'T HAVE HAD TO SEND HIM BACK INTO THE GAME WITH AN INJURY!
Seriously, do you watch football, or do you secretly hate the game but get off on complaining on message boards?
December 30th, 2019 at 6:56 PM ^
They could all be incoming recruits, you don't know. I get the mentality though, it seems lately like all OSU ever does is reload.
December 30th, 2019 at 7:28 PM ^
Nine three stars in year 1 of Ryan Day recruiting.
Look it up.
December 30th, 2019 at 7:41 PM ^
They have 1 rb recruit. A 3 star from Cincinnati. Their wrs though? I want to puke.
December 30th, 2019 at 7:45 PM ^
Excellent WR recruiting, indeed. Top end of that class is exceptional.
That said, nine (9!) 3 stars would have given Urban Meyer chest pains.
It will be interesting to see where they go from here.
December 30th, 2019 at 7:04 PM ^
My guess is when Zeke left you probably thought they wouldn't have anyone as good as him for the next 20yrs.
December 30th, 2019 at 7:43 PM ^
So far that has been accurate
December 30th, 2019 at 8:01 PM ^
Dobbins is as good as Elliot, collegiately (how the hell do I spell this?!) and thus far anyway. That kid is the all-around package out of the backfield and I can't imagine any scenario where he won't be at least really good in the League.
December 30th, 2019 at 7:36 PM ^
It was somewhat tongue in cheek but it does seem that OSU only gets better whenever a player leaves early.
December 30th, 2019 at 7:46 PM ^
OSU hasn't gotten any better since 2014. I don't see any reason to think they'll be better next year than they were this year unless every other junior comes back (doubtful).
December 30th, 2019 at 7:24 PM ^
Dobbins was underused last year, inexplicably splitting carries with Webber despite being much better.
I do think that OSU's biggest strength is their offensive line; their guards were great this year and is made life hell for defenses. I'm sure Teague or whoever takes over next year will be good, but it all starts on the line for OSU.
December 31st, 2019 at 12:03 AM ^
Dobbins wasn't under utilized...they didn't have a QB that could keep teams honest on the zone read. Weber was more of a bruiser that fit the more pro-style offense they ran with Haskins.
Dobbins was more effective with JT Barrett as well. He is explosive, and best in a zone read concept.
December 30th, 2019 at 8:06 PM ^
It was a humbling, sober, eye opening thing to watch Dobbins and Ettiene in the OSU / Clemson game. The speed, burst, quickness...I mean that is what a talented running back looks like.
December 30th, 2019 at 10:24 PM ^
Sober huh?
December 30th, 2019 at 6:50 PM ^
Good. Master Teague is a decent back but won't keep any d coordinators up at night in a state of sweaty clammy fear.
December 30th, 2019 at 8:15 PM ^
All you need is a decent back with an elite OL.
December 30th, 2019 at 6:50 PM ^
I think the offense and Fields will struggle without him. They wouldn't have had a shot against Clemson without him coming back. Kind of like McSorely without Saquon.
December 30th, 2019 at 7:11 PM ^
Fields has so many 5* WRs he won't even need a RB.
December 30th, 2019 at 7:26 PM ^
Here, you might do well to move on to other thoughts. They are recruiting at a very high level in every position group.
December 30th, 2019 at 7:51 PM ^
Totally agree. They were a completely different team without Dobbins.
December 30th, 2019 at 6:51 PM ^
Good, and good for him.
December 30th, 2019 at 6:55 PM ^
OSU must be even madder now at Tom Herman for "stealing" Bijan Robinson from them.
December 30th, 2019 at 6:57 PM ^
That and Jaylan Knighton (sp?) who ended up at FSU. They had both of them wrapped up at one point.
December 30th, 2019 at 7:02 PM ^
One of them could make a bogus claim about being called a name and probably immediately head to osu. On top of it the fans would cheer it and not bat an eye.
December 30th, 2019 at 7:58 PM ^
Knighton decommitted from FSU after Taggart left. Still didn’t end up at OSU though. I think he signed with Miami.
December 30th, 2019 at 9:41 PM ^
That's right, yes the vaunted Hurricanes
December 30th, 2019 at 7:04 PM ^
Part of the rise of OSU has come because of the decline of Texas. They've gotten a ton of top Texas talent so Texas keeping some of it home is a good thing. Let's hope that trend continues. Herman's record this year doesn't inspire a lot of confidence though.
December 30th, 2019 at 8:42 PM ^
Bijan Robinson is from Arizona. If Herman can keep the top talent in Texas and snag other OSU leans, it will make a difference at both schools.
December 30th, 2019 at 8:54 PM ^
The #1 WR from Texas has signed with OSU last two years. I’m not sure the best kids from Texas are going to Texas
December 30th, 2019 at 6:57 PM ^
I think Dobbins had better numbers than Zeke.. This is a good thing for Michigan, even if it's not quite enough.
