Devin Gardner is the gem of the QB Class of 2010
I came across an article tracking how the careers of the 31 four- and five-star QBs of the Class of 2010 have gone. Long story short, only four of the 31 QBs either have been or currently are the starting QB at the school with which they originally signed, and Gardner is pretty clearly the best one of those. It's pretty eye-opening to see how many highly-regarded QBs wash out before accomplishing much.

it and realize Michigan takes its time to develop you so that you will someday be viewed as the best QB in your class.

Devin hasn't really proved himself yet--I think he will this year, but...
Edit: sorry, looking at the list again Devin does seem to be the most accomplished

Gardner is clearly better than Tyler Bray? I don't think that can realistically be said at this point.

Gardner DOES have fewer stupid-ass, self-aggrandizing tattoos, so that's a win.

I'm going to be that guy, but this is really old. Article was written in May, and discussed then.

I don't pay as much attention to the boards during the offseason, so I hadn't seen this. But thanks.

Man, that class was rough. Gardner has a ton of promise, but he shouldn't be the top guy based on talent + results in that group.
As for Blake Bell, he's only thrown the ball about 20 times in two years, so he hasn't exactly proven he's a star in waiting so much as a really good short yardage back.

Stephen Morris. He's going to be a 3 year starting QB for Miami and is considered to be a potential 1st round pick. the kicker? He's ranked #26 dual threat QB by Rivals.
Another QB to watch is Cody Fajardo from Nevada. He's ranked #35 dual threat QB by Rivals. He's been ranked in the top 10 in total offense. He is another draft prospect to watch since apparently some scouts are high on Fajardo as well.
Obviously, Devin is another player to watch, but has not proven to be the top QB in the 2010 class yet. If he improves, he's easily in the top QB discussion.
