Denard Robinson & Chad Henne vs Detroit Lions, 8:00PM on CBS

3rd Preseason game should feature much playing time for starters and key backups.

Denard should get plenty of snaps tonight.  Give em hell, Shoelace

I liked how we backed up the unnecessary roughness call with a pass interference call. I try not to take too much out of the preseason, but I would hope the Lions passing defense gets some extensive discussion after this game. Lots of "Yeesh" moments unfortunately so far in this one. Run defense is looking pretty good though - we're not making this goal line stand easy and there have been some other flashes

That was definitely not a TD....NFL needs to just break down and put sensors in the football & goal line to improve accuracy with a clear signal if the plane gets broken.

but didn't get a single carry as they play-actioned the whole time.  Yeldon came back in for the goal line carries and got stuffed.  Gift TD, if I've ever seen one.

not much to work with on his kickoff return either.  Ace Sanders getting booted off the team should open up more opportunities for him.

every year we turn the TV off right after the nat'l championship (football) game.  we are month-to-month on the satellite so we go 8+ months/yr usually with no TV, and of course no satellite or cable bills to pay.  well we just got back from the boys' football practice and i called direcTV and said turn it on.  so what is the first thing i see....a 62 yd TD catch by golden tate.  it is a sign.  i'm certain of it.

go lions, go blue.
