Has anyone read the article on scout.com about the juicy news about Denard and Adrian? Could you please explain.

its a bunch of quotes from their high school coach explaining that Florida just doesn't have room for Witty, so they won't be offering him. So Witty's Florida visit got canceled, and that seemingly puts Michigan in a better position given that Kansas State is the only other school to offer both guys and Robinson seems pretty locked in to the idea of them going to college together. Nothing earth shattering, but good to hear nonetheless. Didn't make any mention of either one of them announcing any earlier that signing day as a result.

From what I've read (here), Witty was hurt part or all of last year. I believe he's got 2 stars. But, he does have some potential and fills a position of need (DB).

Ok so he's a kid who has a lot of unrealized potential. Not like UM has never had these type of kids. Maybe these coaches can actually mold him into a player that can contribute.

He was decently-regarded before the injury in his junior season. If he fully recovers, he could be a steal (assuming he and Denard come up to A2).

Witty seems to be a stretch, but we have schollies, space in the class, and need for a CB. So, their could be worse bait for Robinson.

Witty was a legitimate FBS prospect before his injury. From what I've gathered, he was probably a MAC-level recruit before he got hurt. Since we lost to Toledo this past year, maybe having a MAC-level talent wouldn't be so bad.
