Dealing With Sparty

Man, I can't believe you haven't figured out Sparty yet and how to deal with them.

Quit trying to refute their claims, quit trying to splain why it isn't a big win for them!

TOTALLY AGREE WITH EVERYTHING SPARTY SAYS!!!

Yup, this will actually piss off sparty to no end. It is so cool to watch them sink back into oblivion when you say, "You're absolutely right -- it was a great win, you deserve all the credit, those T-shirts are fabulous, can you get me one?

You see, they want us M fans to respond. When we don't -- we totally F them up!!

I agree. I was wearing a hoodie with a big block M on it yesterday in class and a sparty fan asked me how I felt about the game. I pointed out to them that we were 2-6 and it didn't bother me much and he quickly shut up.

The same thing has happened to me.  When people ask me what I thought about the game, I say, "That's about what I expected.  We're not very good this year."  Then they don't have anything else to say.

we're the University of Michigan...msu is like comparing the L.A. Galaxy to Barcelona...they're in two different leagues, we dont need to argue back...we KNOW we're better...they know they're not better so they need to boost their own confidence by making shirts and shitty billboards celebrating their first win over the worst u of m team in 35 years in, what, like 8 years?? and the first since '90? we dont  need to say anything, our history says it all...we are the Maize and Blue

I agree, if you can get away with not saying anything that would be great.

But, usually sparty just doesn't quit and if you just walk away, sparty thinks he has gotten the best of you.

We have a steak & beans bet (loser buys steak for winner, loser eats beans). I volunterred my house for the party (15-20 sparties, 15-20 Ms) and intend to have all the sparty paraphenalia, 3'X5' poster of sparty headlines, etc. already hanging on the walls.

I know they intend to raz my ass and this will demoralize them the minute they walk in.

Yeah, I am pretty devious!!!!!(Never let them see you sweat!)

They beat us, on the average, about 2 times a decade.  It's their time at this moment.  Let them have their fun.  It's the only thing they seem to live for.
