De'Veon Smith number change today

Submitted by Wolverine Devotee on

Noticed this today at the game seeing him run out of the tunnel. Smith has changed from #4 to #32.

Didn't some guy wear #32 here once that played RB?

looks good. hopefully it stays, better yet, hopefully he can start getting some carries and not just be on the field the same time as Cam Gordon.

Should have gotten some today if things were going the way they were in the second half, earlier on.

And the previous game, and the game before that....

I wouldn't think so, but a majority of the time that Smith has been in this year has been spent on special teams (from what I have seen), so the purpose of the change was for better coverage, then I can  see it because they've already been using in him that capacity.

I could be off there, of course.

my 32 jersey just became much more relevant.  I was tired of representing a walk on two players in a row...only to have one of them change their number on me.

Another thread to show the up tight asshole mentality. The guy made a simple observation that he runs similar to A-train and all the Joe Cool posters jump at the chance to make a smart ass comment.

So, let me see if I get this.... Player jersey number changes happening in abundance over the years is so that players can be on the field at the same time?
