Daxton Hill Starting In Place Of Brad Hawkins
According to one person close to Michigan who is not authorized to speak publicly on the matter, starting safety Brad Hawkins will not be playing today against Indiana and freshman safety Daxton Hill will start in his place.

Hart has always been an over-the-top guy with his comments but he's passionate and I think a good coach. I would love to give him a shot at Michigan.

This coaching staff isn’t going to make up an injury to start a better player. If they thought Dax was better right now they’d just start him.

Well I’m sure we’ll still see Brad but this can only be a good sign. We need a huge star next week and he could emerge there. Maybe even today.
But for all intents and purposes he’s been “starting” aka getting a majority of snaps for a while
