Damn Proud Of The Players Tonight

Couldn’t agree more. DDJ looked confident and Eli did as well.

Hell yeah!

Eli did have a great game and Johns really impressed me. I'm going to have to rewatch the game because I was not very impressed with DDJ at all.

DDJ was not very good tonight on either side of the floor, but at the very least it's more experience. Still, the way Michigan is struggling defensively we would've lost tonight to any other Big10 team. Need Simpson and Livers back ASAP to have any chance to get to the tourney.

Happy we got the win, but wasn’t DDJ 1-7?

Damn, had I know Michigan was in town I would have went to the game! DOH

Nunez, Castleton, and Baird on the floor at the same time and we still won on the road!
Great Team W!

First road win of the entire season. Brooks, Wagner, Johns showed out. Nice team win, and looking forward to another one soon, too. Gotta love Michigan b-ball - a turn around here could be just like so many Beilein seasons.

First of the season! That's so wild I had to go back and check to be sure. I know it's Nebrasketball, but a road win with Nunez and Baird getting regular minutes and 2 starters out probably shouldn't happen. Let's hope Livers and Zavier get back soon and the team heats up for the final stretch.

Huge win. Huge.
Major props to the boys for toughing it out. Not pretty, but really gutsy. Brooks stepped up when the team needed him most.
Fortunately we caught Nebraska on a night where they played horribly (they looked much, much better their last game at Rutgers).
Man, it's great to end that losing streak! Hope this portends good things coming our way!

Nice to see a positive post here for once. Nearly everyone on the team is being asked to fill a role beyond their skill set, and they're still competing hard in every game.

It seemed like they kind of stared into the void when Nebraska took the lead in the second half and then really responded well. For the most part, they seemed to deal really well with a major disruption and ... with some notable exceptions ... the ball seemed to move on offense, and players moved off the ball, better than it/they have in the past few games.

I’ll be at the Garden this weekend. Hoping to see Simpson and/or Livers but if not I’ll still enjoy seeing the team in person.

I'll be there too - not going to be easy but will be fun

Weird guys posbang.

A win is a win. Good to see them respond. Nebraska was no guaranteed W (Iowa and Purdue both dropped games there this year). They made some mistakes and were lucky Nebraska couldn't really shoot. I also thought the officiating was bad and actually favored Michigan for once. But they were able to get a road win without two of their best players which is good news.
I know everyone is worried about the Rutgers game at MSG being a 'home' game but Michigan for whatever reason has been excellent on neutral courts (especially the Garden) the last several years. Rutgers is legitimately good now but I'm hoping some MSG magic helps Michigan get a W.

Nebraska couldn't shoot? They were hovering around 50% on 3's most of the game and finished 9/21 (43%). This from a team that had shot 32% on the year coming in. If anything, they had a great shooting night.
I was at the game, and the crowd was hilarious. They would boo so hard at every call, and then they'd show a replay and everyone would shut up because the call was so obvious. While no game is ever perfectly officiated, last night was pretty decent, in my opinion. Maybe it just seemed to favor Michigan because it was more or less evenly called, which we haven't gotten on the road in the B1G yet this year.

I've been pretty down on Juwan's coaching and still not happy with the transition 3s they are allowed to chuck but I agree yesterday was a great job by those kids and staff coming together and getting it done. They very easily could of packed it in and claimed "poor us"

Big Ten is the deepest its been in quite a while. Probably the deepest its been since the 2012-13 season when it seemed like at any given time, at least 4-5 Big Ten teams were in the top 10.
Moral of the story: don't take any victory for granted. Especially a road victory. MSU is probably the only team in the conference that can afford to walk into a game, not give its best effort, and most nights still walk away with a W. I envision this conference will continue to cannibalize itself all the way through to Selection Sunday.

Yep, they stepped up minus their floor leader. An excellent win!!

While seeing Baird, Brooks, and Nunez on the floor at the same time I couldn't help but wonder what Bajema needs to do to see some minutes. Redshirt is out since he's already played. Anyone know if he's injured?
