Craig James calling the game tomorrow

Submitted by BRCE on

As he mentioned last night on the air, Craig James, the most hated man in college football media by a country mile and the living embodiment of the World Wide Leader's arrogance, will be calling our game against WMU.

Does anyone think some signs should be made to make him feel unwelcome? Perhaps a quick chant in the fourth quarter (presuming it's as uneventful as we all hope)? Anybody have any good ideas out there?

i dont really listen to the broadcasting because my selective hearing is so good but i seriously couldnt block her out at all during the indiana game last year and she is like the racheal nichols of broadcasting. hopefully i can just get so consumed by the game tomorrow and laughing/crying happily at how good the defense looks

Signs/Chants would be ineffective.  ABC would just ignore them.  They've taken their side on this issue and they seem to be sticking with it.

Several signs at gameday next week?  That may be a different story.

If the chant gets loud enough it might make it on the air, before they turn down the background noise.  They'd obviously avoid the signs showing up on camera.

Sad Sad day when I would prefer the SEC slurpfest of Danielson instead of James....I guess that means Sean/Millen must be in Georgia for that game.

Hmmm, I might regret saying this but I think i would rather have Pam "Larry" Ward instead.

That means I will be watching the game on mute. And listening to the game on the radio. Like Frank Beckman a whole lot better! Or if we get the whole 105,000+ stadium chanting. ABC would look really stupid on national tv to mute the crowd noise.

He is a phony.  He has no integrity.  It is difficult to take anything he says seriously because of his track record of lying and backstabbing.  He has no objectivity and no talent.  Besides using his position to get Leach fired, thus helping his pathetic, entitled, crybaby son, he still expects everyone to believe that he never took a dime in the SMU scandal.

Other than that, he's everything you would want in a football analyst.

So sorry if this has been asked somewhere else.  Is the game going to be on ESPN or ABC (please god ABC).  I'm working and we only get local channels there.  TV Guide/Comcast guide has been useless.

What?  Here is what you posted yesterday about talking heads.

"I remember getting worked up about talking heads' opinions when I was 12-14 years old. I was both highly sensitive and superstitious about their words.

I evolved out of that. Some people didn't."

And now you want to make signs and start chants to make him feel unwelcome?

I cannot watch the game because of stupid ass work obligations.  However, if I was going to watch it I would turn the volume down/mute the TV and turn up the radio dial/online feed of Brandstatter and Beckmann.
