Western played a pretty good game in this one. Their O line and rush game held up worlds better than a MAC team typically does against superior competition. And their defense gave up a ton of big plays but also forced three punts (same number of punts as WMU had) and kept Wisconsin from running away with it. The interception at their own goal line was a killer but after the 1st quarter Western was very much in the game. Look forward to seeing whether Fleck can keep them moving up or if they've already hit the ceiling. Also found this interesting:

Man the B1G has really been terrible this bowl season. Are Minny, Wisky, and Northwestern the only teams to win?

Also, if Penn State loses, do you think Wisconsin will end up being ranked ahead of 3 B1G teams that beat them in the final rankings?? How fucked up is that?

The clock management was really a head-scratcher. It's as if they didn't realize it was the 4th Quarter on that last drive.
