Gholston is a terror.  He was very impressive in every game I saw last year of Sparty, and I hope he is so good (ex the Michigan game) this year he takes his talent to south beach... or the NFL.  Their defense as a whole is impressive with the LBs as well, will be interesting to see how they do without Worthy but Gholston could be on his way to a top 10 pick if he continues as last year's pace.  Have no idea how Maxwell will do but it looks like Ohio (State) North with a good RB corp, servicable QB, and a ton of defensive talent.

- Gholston looks great - LBs look good - who knows on that interior DL - Cook is inaccurate - don't see any playmakers on Offense - depth on OL is poor - apparently this OL can't block a Sparty A gap blitz either. Are these guys invisible? - Nick Hill looks less electric - lol B1G announcer saying 4/5 star recruits are now the norm for Sparty pretty much what was expected

I am ashamed that I am sitting in front of my tv watching this steaming pile of poo.

My conclusions:

Cook is a freshman and plays like it

There's a lot of swagger on the sidelines and on the field after the play.  Reminds me of Miami (YTM) of the 80s.  Dude's standing over each other after a hit.  Posing after an INT.

Tommy Gholson on the sidelines with a knee wrapped.  Hope he didn't injure it while lining up as a safety.

Speaking of Tom, his team justy lost.  Enjoy your weenie, big fella.

And finally, some parting comments from Sam the Eagle.  Very humble, as usual:  "We're a good football team"  "Very impressed with our defense"  "We'll hit people"  Quite a contrast from that guy in Ann Arbor.
