This is going to be hard to watch, but I'll watch anyway.

There are 14 people there.  Lame.

The campus buzz is all done.  Just sterile corporate-sponsored conference bowls now.

The CFB season really is over.

I'm a sad dog.

The worst part about this shit every year is that college football ends for me on the Saturday after Thanksgiving.  It isn’t even really the Playoff, it is this.  That is why I wished at the time that Maryland would have just beaten them.  At least we would still have had this.

Yup. The foolish people who wanted OSU to win that game are likely trying to take that back now. Those were the overly confident people who thought we’d handle OSU fairly easily. At least today would have been a nice consolation prize after losing to OSU. This is a prime example to almost never want OSU to win unless it directly benefits UM. An OSU win over Maryland did nothing but help THEM get to this game today. If UM had beaten a two-loss team as opposed to a one-loss, it would have made no difference whatsoever. A one-loss UM Big Ten champion would be selected as the four seed.

It really is sad when the realization hits the season is over. Such a long time and lots of cold weather (for most of us) until September. IMO College Football is the best sports product in the world.

Going to the gym until Iggy, Matthew's and the boys pound the shit outta Purdue. I'll try to avoid football as much as possible today

Then Joshua vs Fury tonight. Two 6'8 heavyweights should be a blast

The boxing market is not good enough for it to be a pay per view event, though.  It should be on HBO or Showtime for subscribers.  They need to do all they can do to get eyeballs on the biggest events.

I didn't even know GameDay was on - thanks for breaking my Saturday morning, Dog...

I can honestly say that I have zero interest in footballing today.  In 2016, as disappointed as I was, I didn't feel this bad about having lost the game.  I was stoked about the Orange Bowl matchup when it was announced, and wildly excited for the game on NY's Day.  This year?  Apathy.  Just plain, simple apathy.

I'm hoping (expecting) to be largely ready for a NY6 game by 1 Jan, just not there yet...  The worst part about today?  Hearing how OSU is getting talked up.  Fuck that.

Kind of the worst part is that, speaking only for myself, I am flat out rooting for OSU to make the Playoff.  There are some talking heads that will say otherwise, but the Rose Bowl still is “something.”  It is something more than Ramdom NY6 Bowl against Random Opponent(tm).  I actually want Oklahoma to lose and OSU to win by 100.  I can envision myself on New Years Day watching to Rose Bowl  feeling ultra-satisfied.  Peach Bowl on the 29th?  SMH.

Sorry I disagree. The Rose bowl was once the bowl you went to because you were the best team in the big or the PAC. Now it’s being used (some years as the natty) or even worse, a consolation prize because you got your ass whipped by 23. As a kid I watched the parade and was in awe for all it stood for. Now not so much.

Dari & Mel not giving much respect to OSU on ESPN radio this morning. If Northwestern keeps the game within a score or two, OU or UGA wins, then OSU gets bounced.

We only have chaos now, my friends.

The intrepid Washington State flag waving all alone outside in the parking lot in the rain behind the Game Day crew through the window, feels like the American flag waving through the battle fog of Iwo Jima.

I'm inspired.

Tip of the hat.

Herbie slurping UGA's butthole now.  If they lose, they have 2 losses and are not a conference champ - they're out.  And should be.

Need an 8 team playoff...

I can't watch today. I'm completely disinterested in football.

Basketball is a different story.

Ohio State will win tonight by at least 21 points. You can take that to the bank.

Wow, Tuas father is reminding me of  The Todd Marinovich story . Poor kid got the belt if he played bad... his father chose Bama for him over USC.... geeze i never heard any of this before .

I tell my kids about the Marinovich story.  They have a lot of friends with super-intense parents.  Things like getting hit for getting a B on their report card.  For real.

Marinovich was "Robo QB", very rigidly groomed from birth by his father to be a pro QB.  He never even had a Big Mac until college.

But then when he got to college and he had all that freedom, he went berserk.  He couldn't handle it.

You need some balance in life.  If you go 20 years without it, you'll try to make it all up in one year.

Anyone see the Rinaldi piece on Tua and his dad? Tua’s Dad is the problem with Sports today, what a clown. Gets the belt if he doesn’t play well? Throws 1 pick and worst game ever, discipline coming? Dad makes the decision where he goes to school? Guy is a loser. If you wanted the decisions, should’ve been better yourself for your life. Tua gives family all the praise, probably because it worked out. Not all these stories end with bufferfly and roses. All too often in youth sports now. Parent wants/pushes kid more than what they want it. Unfortunately, dads seeing this piece, think I just need to push my son/daughter harder and they will be the best. Maybe I am off here, but I didn’t like that piece at all.

Damn, Quavo is the guest picker. Rubbing salt in the wound. Harbaugh’s boy can’t even pick Michigan on his debut on gameday.

Quavos grill is straight fire btw.
