Cissoko possibly back, not starting

Submitted by ameed on
Buried at the end of the Chengelis article, this little blurb, re Cissoko: "'If he does what he needs to do (Friday), he’ll be ready to go in action Saturday,' Rodriguez said" http://www.detnews.com/article/20091023/SPORTS0201/910230344/Michigan-n… Hopefully a good learning experience for him, we are going to need him next year for sure and maybe at some point this year as well.

After checking previous posts on Cissoko's suspension im still wondering what did he do? All i got is that he "violated team rules"... is he doing drugs or are his grades not up to par, or worse? Anyone have an answer on this, and sorry if it was addressed earlier in October, my survey of prior posts was not exhaustive.

The two rumors I saw were: 1) attitude, missing pratice/meetings 2) smoking I do not know him, so I cannot comment on the validity of the rumors. These are usually the same rumors that pop up with a violation of team rules. 18-19 year old kids are cocky and make poor decisions. I've done it myself, so I don't think these are out of the realm of possibility.

really makes me wish with even more fury that Warren sticks around another year. He can continue to help Boo Boo grow and lead through is example of how to play the position and how to battle through adversity as he did with his nagging injury last year. obviously we need warren back there next year, but his presence has the potential to be felt for several more years after he is gone.

I still would like to see Booboo out there, IF....he truly has done what he needs to get "reinstated". He had to have been very diappointed in losing his starting position. I'd like to see him get on the field a bit - simply to reinforce his "good" behaviors, and to reward his efforts in getting out of RRs doghouse.

up for the 2011 draft virtually guarantees Warren goes pro this year. It would be silly of him not to unless for some reason his draft rating comes back with a second day pick (not going to happen).

but it doesn't mean a 3rd QB wouldn't be better in obvious passing situations or against a team like Purdue. I could see Cissoko being better than Kovacs (or Mouton/Ezeh) with 4 or 5 wideouts. Good to have the option at least...

This comment is thoroughly confusing. First of all, what does a QB have to do with Cissoko, S. Brown, etc.? Second, I never said anything about Cissoko being better than Kovacs against the spread. I said we HAVEN'T come out in a nickel look, not that we shouldn't.

www.dwuapparel.com Dear Wolverine fans, Just want to remind you to order your Rich Rod Hope Shirt before they are all sold out. There are only about 300 printed and have been received rave reviews not just here in New York but across the country. Show your support for this young team coming down the home stretch against the rest of the Big Ten. The shirts are printed on American Apparel tees, available in Navy and Grey, sizes S - XL (sizes are mens, but women don't worry - the small fits all females). I would love the support of all my fellow Wolverine alumni and friends. They also make great gifts for the family members and feel free to forward along to others. The shirts can be purchased at WWW.DWUAPPAREL.COM. www.dwuapparel.com Facebook page: Rich Rod Hope Shirt Google search: Rich Rod Hope Shirt
