Wonder if we will see some of these RBs lining up as wideouts this year. With a lot of bodies in the room to get carries I could see more passes to RBs and having them do some formation stuff with slots swapping back to the backfield. A lot of speed and talent at RB. Hope we find ways to use it all

Yeah I don't really understand going into the portal right now for someone who doesnt want to opt out. You wont be on a new team for this season. So instead of live practices against actual football players you're just working out somewhere. McCaffrey had a chance to play this season. Milton could struggle, get hurt, get sick, or maybe lose his position once pads come on. McCaffrey's superior athleticism likely would have gotten him some offensive packages even if he wasnt starting.

Even if Turner never really sees the field this year and doesnt want to stick around hell be better prepared to transfer to a new team in '21 by being on this seasons active roster.

Lots of potentially good running backs on the team (to my mind none of them have proven to be excellent yet in a Michigan uniform). It will be interesting to see if Gattis/Harbaugh can find ways to use more than 2 or 3 if they develop into really good backs.

This is great news. Turner is immensely talented and could be the lightning to a group that’s mostly thunder. I wish him the best and hope he carves out a role this season.
