Per MLive. Also has 2 minutes of video from practice.

I'm amazed the kid hasn't entered the transfer portal tbh
December 27th, 2019 at 3:49 PM ^
If he had already done so he wouldn't have had an opportunity to play in the game. See, e.g., Tarik Black. There is plenty of time to enter after the Bowls, if that's his choice.
December 27th, 2019 at 3:49 PM ^
In related news, Christian Turner has entered the portal
December 27th, 2019 at 9:48 PM ^
Is this a joke?
December 27th, 2019 at 4:14 PM ^
Magnus commented on this (and Magnus I hope I am remembering your thoughts correctly), but he mentioned that Turner likely would be a #2-#3 RB if he transferred somewhere else. Thus, why enter into the Transfer Portal. My apologies Magnus if I got your thoughts wrong.
December 27th, 2019 at 4:41 PM ^
Yeah, if he planned on transferring to someone vaguely in the college football playoff discussion. There are plenty of places where he could win a job. He had a share of one here until he showed he couldn't handle pass protection this season.
He's not dead in the water here, if he can learn how to participate in pass protection he can get himself right back in the mix.
December 27th, 2019 at 7:39 PM ^
He has the ability to pass pro but needs more consistency, he had a few fumbles too.
December 27th, 2019 at 8:34 PM ^
In his defense he’s being coached by a guy who never played running back and has worked through the coaching ranks at Michigan like Dantonio is running the show.
December 27th, 2019 at 9:52 PM ^
Well Bill Belichik was a lacrosse player.
December 27th, 2019 at 4:47 PM ^
Me too.
December 27th, 2019 at 6:44 PM ^
I swear some people here are rooting for the whole team to transfer or go pro.
December 27th, 2019 at 7:35 PM ^
Young men that aren't going to play and make an impact, but still want to play football...I hope they do enter the transfer portal if they want to be a starter somewhere.
December 28th, 2019 at 9:52 AM ^
He may have fumbled his way out of the portal
December 27th, 2019 at 3:50 PM ^
Kemp 100%
Hawkins 90% or better
BVS to TE
JH and 2 other coaches will visit Stanford players after dead period.

Copying from other thread:
Any timeline on the coaching changes? Presuming at least a couple of the assistants move on.
Ghostofgermainegonzales said if Brown leaves "DJD" is thought by many inside the program to be the next DC - any idea on the veracity of that? If that's DJ Durkin that seems like an absolute terrible move given what happened at Maryland and what type of person he was revealed to be.
December 27th, 2019 at 4:07 PM ^
What assistants would move on? I keep hearing Zordich but the only basis is that he’s been here since day 1 of Harbaughs tenure. Campanile could move to Rutgers or BC with new staffs forming there, but I think Michigan could convince him to stay and help him take the next step forward.
December 27th, 2019 at 9:59 PM ^
Jay Harbaugh OUT
Mike Hart IN
-------
Mike Zordich OUT
Devin Bush, Sr. IN (Safties)
*Campanile CBs, Partridge LBs.
....make it happen!!!!
December 27th, 2019 at 4:04 PM ^
BVS to TE is interesting. He would be a pretty small TE but he has decent hands and could be an impactful blocker. I still wish they had tried him out at WDE.
December 27th, 2019 at 4:19 PM ^
Yeah I don’t get it. He has defense written all over him. Iowa was right.
December 27th, 2019 at 4:27 PM ^
We already have LBs transferring because they are not getting playing time, why would he benefit from moving to defense?
December 27th, 2019 at 5:10 PM ^
MOAR undersized DT's
December 27th, 2019 at 8:42 PM ^
We have players transferring because Don Brown is a Tressel type, grizzled old fuck who lives and dies by upper class men. This isn’t the acc when you can sneak up on a Dabo and look good while losing.
December 27th, 2019 at 6:48 PM ^
I bet a dollar it'd be more of like an H back kind of tight end. A lot of blocking and going out for passes out of the backfield instead of lining up on the line.
December 27th, 2019 at 9:19 PM ^
Agreed. He'll motion or lineup as a FB a bunch if I had to guess.
Just like how we used Eubanks a bunch this season.
December 27th, 2019 at 7:47 PM ^
Small for TE but not for Defensive Line?
He’s between 6-2 and 6-3 and 245 pounds Gattis system doesn’t incorporate Big inline blockers at that position see Alabama and Irv Smith Jr who has essentially the same measurable as BVS. Watch his tape from HS he can catch away from the body and high point.
I get the thought of moving him to defense especially with Anthony transferring but I’ve said it before sometimes Don Browns personnel decisions are enigmatic. I think he’ll be good as a Move TE he was miscast as a RB.
December 27th, 2019 at 5:23 PM ^
Thanks UM, I mentioned that the coaches had made plans in case Eubanks leaves.
December 28th, 2019 at 9:53 AM ^
Ben has great hands and got to see him live make some big time catches
December 27th, 2019 at 3:56 PM ^
Really liked his potential and hoped he would be able to work his way out of the doghouse by seasons end. I imagine it was due to pass protection, but then again Haskins started the season horrible at pass protection and he got back on the field.
December 27th, 2019 at 5:06 PM ^
I imagine it was due to pass protection
I imagine ball security had more to do with it than anything else.
December 27th, 2019 at 4:05 PM ^
Really quick runner. Had some trouble hanging on to the ball. Wish him the best
December 27th, 2019 at 5:06 PM ^
Anyone know why I just read an article that had the headline - Michigan’s Ambry Thomas not making future decisions until after Citrus? Who in the hell is telling him that he is remotely ready for the NFL? What is going on - he’s not even a good CB in the B10. Same with Uche - he’s just now an above average rush end, but against the run and in general he’s an average B10 guy. What is going on with these kids? DB’s defensive scheme covers up so many warts that the players even think they are better than what they are. Thomas is not close to ready for the league - wow.
December 27th, 2019 at 5:46 PM ^
You suck.
December 27th, 2019 at 5:54 PM ^
Not ready and 100% sure he will return.
December 27th, 2019 at 6:00 PM ^
Correct! He will return.
December 27th, 2019 at 10:33 PM ^
Quality take. Not even a good B10 cb yet you want him back. If he's not good why do you want him back. IMO he's an above average cb and he showed that all year.
December 27th, 2019 at 6:03 PM ^
I like Turner as a player, but he needs to prove to the coaches he can have better ball security. I hope he heals up and is able to contribute next year. But, if Corum is as good as advertised, I don't see both Haskins and Turner both sticking around. If Corum is 3rd or higher on the depth chart, whomever is 4th is gone.
December 27th, 2019 at 6:23 PM ^
Eubanks coming back. Great news!
December 27th, 2019 at 6:41 PM ^
In case you didn’t know, Nico and DPJ back as well, in my opinion. I’m sure you know already.
December 27th, 2019 at 6:44 PM ^
Riding his coattails dumbass? He has already stated that long before your stupid ass opinions!
December 27th, 2019 at 6:49 PM ^
Really? Quote? Source? Just my opinion. Pretty cool if true.
December 27th, 2019 at 7:37 PM ^
No offense, but I'm pretty sure no one cares about your random opinion on who is gonna come back to play in 2020. UMB11 isn't giving a random opinion...it is based off of insider information.

December 27th, 2019 at 6:49 PM ^
Getting late early for Turner
December 27th, 2019 at 10:02 PM ^
He has the most diverse skillset of any back on the roster. Needs to hold onto the ball and improve his blocking and he's easily 1B next to Charbonnet.
But those are two BIG facets to his position. But his top end speed with the power and toughness make him the most dynamic back on the roster. Even right now.
December 27th, 2019 at 7:07 PM ^
He said it weeks ago jackass.
