Chaundee Brown has yet to declare for the NBA draft
Chaundee had yet to declare for the draft. This seems weird since there are only 12 days left to declare. Anyone heard what's going on?
Some seniors who aren't on this list. Some were expected, some weren't:

Don’t. Do. This. To. Me.
11 more days of “so you’re saying there’s a chance”.
Do seniors have to declare?
Edit: According to the NBA collective bargaining agreement, graduating college seniors -- meaning those who have exhausted their four years of NCAA eligibility -- are automatically eligible for the NBA draft and do not need to declare themselves eligible via the early-entry list.
I believe everyone needs to declare to be on this list as this year didn't count for eligibility. It's possible Brown just didn't fill out the paperwork. He has signed with an agent so he's definitely not coming back.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but my understanding is that he hasn’t exhausted his eligibility due to the extra ‘covid year’.
It doesn’t really matter since he announced he was leaving a while ago, but just wondering if - given the extra year of eligibility - he should/have to actually declare?
Yes, every senior at every level of college basketball had to declare this year. Otherwise they will be automatically eligible next year.
Don’t know what to tell you mate.
Thank you!
I'm not falling for that one again.
Doesn't get any more simple than that last line.
Pretty sure he made a public statement saying he was going to the NBA. He’s gone.
He’s selling his gear on a website so I think that automatically disqualifies him from competing in college again.
Why sell your college gear while planning on going to the NBA ?. I’d have a man cave full of that stuff, but I’m just a simpleton so what do I know?
People like money. No judgement.

Uhhh I mean I would buy said gear for my very own mancave, so I have to think he’s in it for the money
He’s still working on his farewell letter.
Maybe he’s staying in Mo’s basement? I heard the old tenant moved out.
He still has 8 days. In my college days I almost never submitted an exam early. I always sat there and used all of the available time to try and improve my answers, then turned it in at the deadline. At work, I often do the same, especially with important assignments.
"In my college days I almost never submitted an exam early. I always sat there and used all of the available time to try and improve my answers, then turned it in at the deadline."
Yeah, yeah, me too. That's why I never turned in my exams before the deadline too. I was improving my answers. Yep, that's exactly right.
I once passed a class by answering C on every question I didn't know. I didn't know a lot of them and figured out early on in the class that the curve was so big, I could pull this off so I didn't even bother studying. I would sit down, do a quick read through and then just fill in the C and turn it in and walk out within about 5-10 minutes. The teacher hated me of course and I was always afraid he would make sure there were no C answers on one of the tests to screw me.
Yeah, I didn't go to UM in case anyone was wondering
I'm pretty sure they NBA doesn't grade your submission request and decide whether or not you are eligible. It's just interesting, that is all. Maybe he plays in the g league for a year to improve his draft stock.
I got my taxes done a month before the deadline this year....because they extended the deadline by a month and I didn't know.
Where does Josh Christopher’s name come in some of the mock drafts? Just curious
CBS sports has him late 1st round:

Mid-1st on NBA Draft Net:
So his draft stock went down? Hmmm interesting. At least his brand is built. Oh wait...
Not nearly enough upvotes here
I'd love to see him return...and wish Juwan had him take the game end shots vs UCLA. He seems unrattled by anything, which is exactly the type you want shooting the ball. If there ever was a player since McGary that feels like a ton of unfinished business, its him. But I highly doubt he returns.
Who is advising him though?
Yo mama, of course.
Is this meaningful? Would he have any real chance of being drafted? Does he have to declare to work out a free agent deal?
He has high level basketball skills and probably has received advice from NBA people on where he might or not fit for an NBA career. Certainly Juwan would have advised him as best he could. If the NBA is a realistic possibility and the NBA is what he wants, I hope he takes a shot at it.
not to derail this thread, but i see ALOT of Chaundee Brown similarities in Ty Rodgers game
