I said it! And for a team with lesser character, I still believe it could cause resentment. If "playmakers" are pulling in $10k+++, I doubt a $150 jacket would ease the jealousy much.
That being said, this is a tremendous sign of character, and a great indication of the current culture of the program. Good on Cade for thanking his O-line. They most certainly deserve any love and recognition that comes their way.

I said and will continue to say something similar.
A fucking jacket doesn't replace potential millions of NIL bucks.
Nice jackets, and good for Cade, but OL will not get those NIL bucks even though they are sacrificing their bodies so the "skill" players can make millions.
If you don't see that as a potential wedge at some point, then you don't have much perspective.
Anyway, it is what it is and will be. Go Blue!

If you are going to cap the NIL, why have it at all? When capped, it will go back to the way it was to get players compensated above the cap. Then we can go back to saying Clemson cheats...etc.

Professional offensive linemen make less than the quarterbacks they protect. That has led to a huge problem in every NFL locker room.

those are lined carhartts which is what we wear around the farm. real jackets, not little wimpy down jackets or windbreakers or rain coats. customized with names and numbers. that is so cool. santa claus has come to town.

Carharrt has done an excellent job expanding their line in recent years. They make some very stylish functional gear now along with their traditional work wear.

How does Duluth Trading Co stack up? I have never seen a piece of Duluth clothing/underware anywhere, but I sure do love their commercials.

I have a Duluth “shirt/jacket” that I wear in fall/spring when doing yard work. It’s very hardy, warm/not too warm, and is more comfortable than a jacket. I recommend.

I have some lined work pants I wear in the winter and I like them a bunch. I have worn through a number of pairs of Carhartt pants, not because they are bad, but because they get so much use.

Good on Cade, but I doubt he shelled out for these. The whole thing looks like a Carhartt ad, and I don't think you get an @ from a playoff starting qb these days without something in return.

Agree on the ad piece, but he definitely shelled out his time and built-up reputation to make the agreement happen. Bonus points if he took an NIL deal that would've solely benefited him and in turn came up w/ this idea and style/customization of the jackets.

Fun fact: a rural high school I attended in northern Michigan featured one gang, the Carhartt Gang... Cow tipping, Carhartt overalls, and Ford Trucks were some of their trademarks.
