Bushell-Beatty and Hawkins profiles
I guess that I always root for guys who stick around, or stay committed, despite setbacks, but in any case I enjoyed the two articles below about Brad Hawkins' journey from 2015 WR commit to prep school and then back to Michigan, and Juwan Bushell-Beatty finally getting a chance to start as a redshirt junior after joining the team in Hoke's last season. I think that our running game, at least, has progressed since Bushell-Beatty got more playing time, and hope that Hawkins can team with Hudson to hold down the viper spot for the next few years.

*except Ahmir Mitchell
But yes I agree. Kareem Walker had a bit of a rough academic start as well, but fought through that. A weaker-willed individual would've just transferred to an easier school. Very proud of Hawkins and Walker for valuing academics.

no doubt. not sure exactly where they grew up or lived but hawkins and a couple others attended camden high and making it out of camden nj (and upwards) is no sure thing (though unfortunately similar can be said for many areas). rooting for them all
