32 points on 10-21 shooting, 9 assists, 7 boards. 11 points in OT to clinch the victory
things go poorly
One of the many one-ups to KCP. Touché Trey.
but 30 in regulation >>> 32 in 2 OTs
But 32 points in a win >>> X points in a loss.
Because it's KCP's fault that the Piston's lost, and thus by default is a less impressive effort.
But KCP played 44 mins in regulation. Burke played 48 in 2 OT so it's very similar and when u factor in assists I would say Burke had a better game especially given a win vs a loss, but they both played well.
Meant to be a reply to Michigan4Life
The team win trumps
If he can get his shooting % up, he's gonna be a force in the league.
about Kentreyvious Caldwell-Burke
of course this had to be posted once the KCP thread went up.
My thoughts too
Anything else is splitting hairs. Hell, 32 in an intramural game isn't that easy.
Let's not overlook the 9 dimes he had too.
If he wasn't injured early in the season would he be the ROY?
But it would still be MCW.
16+PTS, 6rebs and 6asst speaks for itself. Trey will be 2nd
lol last time I checked he was in the negative offensive wins above replacement. His stats are at his team's expense. Dude's an average player that gets a lot of minutes because his team is full of scrubs. If that's good enough to get you ROY then the award is worthless.
Ooo a John Hollinger formula. Now I'm sold
Well present your case.
When both teams combined record still wouldnt make the playoffs in the Western Conference. The fact remains that this year's rookie class was pretty anonymous and nobody made a real impact on a winning team. The award belongs to MCW
Looking at all the various mock drafts to see where they had Nik and Glen projected I failed to notice till tonight that Utah has 2 first round and a second round draft pick.
As I recall, they managed to get a second shot in the first round thanks to the Richard Jefferson / Andris Biedrins trade. A few mock drafts still have the Jazz taking Dante Exum with one of those picks in the first, but the opinions seem to vary a little more on who else they would get. If we're talking Michigan products, I think the Bulls were a common theme for Stauskas in mock drafts, but of course, we won't know until the draft.
Will downvote when I get to the desk
if Trey keeps this up mutha fuckas gonna fine him...
or so I here.
what'd darko milicic do?
Uh...rehire Dumars so you can fire him again! (But really let's remember Joe D for his time as a player and for the 2004 team - Pistons basketball will be returning from its 7 year hiatus next season)
Just curious why someone would neg this?
