^^^This times 1,000.  The foul called on Burke's block is the play everyone remembers, but the officiating in that game was terrible throughout.  There was a critical play at the end of the game on a missed free throw (?) where Levert grabbed the rebound and was pushed out of bounds by a Louisville player.  Instead of a foul call, the official ruled Levert out of bounds and gave Louisville the ball.  I think there were only 20-30 seconds remaining in the game at this point.  Steve Kerr was the CBS analyst for this game and started laughing at the officiating incompetence.  I'm still mad.

Luke Hancock was not called for a foul on a play that would have given him a 4th foul about the middle of 2nd half and he would have been sent to the bench by Pitino but he stayed in the game and was the hottest shooter for Louisville and kept them in the game and it ended up being the difference in the game.

I knew we were done as soon as he broke his leg in the elite 8 and everyone was feeling so sorry for him and Louisville. Pitino was still a darling then. The media and staff were trying to figure out where they would put him IF they happened to win the game, so he could be available for pictures. That’s all they talked about before our game. It’s a lot like Sister Jean. I’m legit worried about officiating tonight. When you are evenly matched at this stage, officials can change a game easily.

can't talk about that Louisville Cheaters game without losing my mind.

however, nice to hear THJ and Burke talking about that run...brings back some great memories

it would be fantastic to see if any other BBall alums have made it down to the tournament, especially if Michigan makes it to Monday night
