Burke and THJ's good advice to current team
Timely piece giving the current Knicks Burke and Hardaway's reflections on their Final 4 (confirming the block was CLEAN), as well as good advice for the team as they enter battle tonight.

The Block WAS clean! I saw it and knew it then, and I know it now!!!
Whatever, nothing we can do about it. We can win this year!
Soon
but the officiating in that game was egregious as hell, that 2013 U-M team was great and deserved a better fate!
^^^This times 1,000. The foul called on Burke's block is the play everyone remembers, but the officiating in that game was terrible throughout. There was a critical play at the end of the game on a missed free throw (?) where Levert grabbed the rebound and was pushed out of bounds by a Louisville player. Instead of a foul call, the official ruled Levert out of bounds and gave Louisville the ball. I think there were only 20-30 seconds remaining in the game at this point. Steve Kerr was the CBS analyst for this game and started laughing at the officiating incompetence. I'm still mad.
Luke Hancock was not called for a foul on a play that would have given him a 4th foul about the middle of 2nd half and he would have been sent to the bench by Pitino but he stayed in the game and was the hottest shooter for Louisville and kept them in the game and it ended up being the difference in the game.
I'll always remember that one. When they missed the foul on Hancock, Hancock proceeded to hit a 3 shortly after and drew a 4th foul on McGary which sent him to the bench. That whole game was BS
Not to mention Luke Hancock committing seven fouls that they just kept heaping on other players so he could continue to light it up from downtown.
Win to today then go for it on Monday.
As I recall, I think Luke Hancock ended the game with abou 17 fouls, but of course, the refs suddenly lost the ability to count in the second half, or indeed call fouls in general.
Yes. 100%
Yes. 100%
well played
James Brown on our side.
Go Blue
We paid the cost to be the boss...
can't talk about that Louisville Cheaters game without losing my mind.
however, nice to hear THJ and Burke talking about that run...brings back some great memories
it would be fantastic to see if any other BBall alums have made it down to the tournament, especially if Michigan makes it to Monday night
Man, Trey has picked up a lot of ink since 2013. Looks sweet.
