About 10 years ago, I paid a nominal fee and was placed on the season ticket waiting list. I never heard back and never really expected to be able to take advantage of the opportunity. But since my kids were very young at the time, I thought that I might get a shot when they were older. But I knew that it was a long shot.
Well, I received a mailing yesterday from the ticket office offering me the opportunity to buy up to four season tickets but only have about 10 days to make my decision. I was stunned.
My only thought is that if the Athletic Department is offering ME tickets, that UM season ticket sales must have plummeted due to 1) U.S. economy 2) drop-off in auto industry support 2) the recent lack of success on the field.
Anybody hearing anything about season ticket sales?

Maybe your name just came up. I mean, it has been ten years. Reasons could possibly be to natural attrition: like somebody died, moved out of the area, or the Borens finally decided to give up their primo seats.
