I don't know how to post the tweets properly but this is what Damien Harris posted last night:

he realizes the need for the B1G to be strong and he was rooting for a B1G victory. Perhaps he has a good relationship with Urban Meyer, perhaps we are too worried about all of this. In a perfect world, a mans word is his word and something to be honored and protected, but that is not the case in this world we live in. I hope Damien is a young man of his word, but if he chooses to go elsewhere, that is his decision. A bunch of grown men hanging on every word of a teenager posts looking for a reason to declare what his intentions are is absurd. We will find out in 13 months what his decision is.

obviously responding to him negatively for cheering for Ohio State. I think that's bull shit an hurts Michigan's cause.
I went to his twitter account to see if there was any changes because he had removed any reference to Michigan and that's when I found this. You're making an awful lot of assumptions if you think I'm "hanging on every word".

Visiting his twitter profile multiple times and posting one of his tweets here qualifies as "hanging on his every word." Yes, the bar is low for that qualifation; but it is low for good reason. Leave the kid alone - stop spreading his tweets.

that I thought that you were among those who my post ultimately addresses, however; I am not sure how many would come to the conclusion that you think its bull based upon what you wrote. You show his post and then emphasize the fact that he was cheering for Ohio State. You never gave a reproof of those who might be contacting Damien. If you take yourself out of the picture and not take what I said personally, as it was intended to be more of a generalization, I think you would have to agree that there are, in fact, an awful lot of grown men hanging on every word that these recruits publish. If you are going to his Twitter feed to verify what changes he made to his account, you might want to re-examine your priorities/ motives.
You are correct though, contacting these kids is not going to encourage recruits to come here. We are hurting our chances, and these kids are definitely networking with one another through social media, so bad experiences travel fast. Look at Bradley Roby's comments to the Ohio State fans about regretting having played for them for the past x years. If we think that kids don't pay attention, we are kidding ourselves. If kids are looking for recruiting information about Michigan that is abundant and free, or if they want to get a general idea about what the fans feel about the team/coaches/players, this is likely the place they will turn so we might want to tone down the negativity.
