BTN Bus Tour - Harbaugh Interview & Practice Clips

Submitted by Jkello007 on August 15th, 2019 at 3:40 PM

I know this was brought up the other day, but haven't seen the video or link posted yet. Basically a 5 minute interview with clips from practice. Gets the blood pumping seeing the winged helmets running around the field. Its almost football season! Go Blue!

Just start the damn season already! I can take only so many previews, clips, and interviews. I'm just really antsy right now. I need real football back already. Not this NFL preseason shit.

I love college football. Fuck, I'm excited for this year.

Weird to say, but Harbaugh looks younger and more invigorated than he has the last couple years. Maybe it's just losing the old man glasses.

I know the coaching staff usually seeks to "tone down" the praise of any one position group, but I find myself less than confident when I review the staff comments about the RBs throughout the summer. I don't at all get the feeling that the entire group is playing lights out, and the staff is just hoping for one of the group to stand out most. I just get the feeling that we're stuck with a fair-to-middling crop despite the supposed improved OL. I hope to be surprised (pleasantly) come August 31.

Also, somewhat surprised by the practice footage shown. Looks like the warmups one would expect on the first day of Fall Camp, not the type of scrimmaging I'd expect with only two weeks to go before the season opener. They're just holding back, right? RIGHT?

We know what we're going to get out of Tru Wilson, a capable if not explosive guy with good vision that'll get the yards the OL and scheme give him, and can pass protect well. That's the floor. If other guys are standing out and pushing him, or have other qualities to bring to the table to warrant PT, then it's just gravy on top.

The great news I'm finding comfort in is that we have a plethora of WRs who can snatch up any slack there might be from the RBs.

The improved o-line will/should be able to manage the LOS. The LBs will have something else to think about with the RPOs and won't be able to just sell out on the run, due to a less predictable passing game.

As long as the Running backs can indeed actually run, they should be more than adequate.

All indications point to this being the pass happy offense we've all been waiting to witness anyway. I'm more concerned with DPJ's health than any of the running backs, since we'll have to most likely break in a new Punt returner as well.

I've not seen that crew more disinterested in Michigan football than that "report"...starting with Dinardo. They couldn't have left town fast enough.

Per Dinardo’s Twitter:

“Each school asks us to cover them a different way and Michigan asks us to cover them in a way that if I said a bunch of things about them based on practice it would be dishonest. I hope you understand.”
