RE: Melanie Collins

So, you've regressed to the point of allowing bikini girls to tweet rumors to get traffic? Is there an actual editor onsite? Did anyone there receive a real journalism degree, or are you just . . . I really don't know . . . using the Force? Is yellow your favorite color?

Yeah, obviously I was being 100% serious (along with the other posters on here). How dare I post a sexual joke on the internet.

I'm sorry, I was drunk and strayed from my daily routine of reading the bible when I wake up, drinking the milk from my own cow, having no impure thoughts about my very plain wife, and staying away from civilization in general. I have to be in tip-top shape to sit in the alumni section come September 4th!

since Day 1.

But I didn't want to post it because of Brian's "don't post anything you wouldn't want your mother to see" warning.

Since the floodgate is now open . . .  (and my mom doesn't read MgoBlog and doesn't know my screen name)

+1 to you.

I think it's interesting that they let her have a twitter page with her pics like that when she is associated with BTN.

than any of the other posts?

Someone posts a video of Monty Python and the spanking scene?  Someone else talks about her being "disciplined"...  I just don't get how that is any creepier than any of the other messages on here...

Was this your original message to BTN?

If so, I'm surprised they even responded. Are formal, well-written complaints a thing of the past?

You knock yourself out, there, Ms. Post.  We can, each of us, keep kidding ourselves that any emailed response (your "Dear Sir or Madam," or my "hey jackwagon") does a bit of good, while at BTN they count the hits and add up the advertising revenue and make their decisions based upon that.

We all get it.  She's hot.  Can the board possibly stop demanding she be forced to be naked and/or spanked?  I know it's an anonymous internet message board, but show a little class.  If you want to see hot naked ladies get spanked, it shouldn't be that hard to find.  You're on the internet, after all.

All you dorks who keep negging everyone for posting "suggestive" humor need to GTF over yourselves, or better yet get laid so you're not so uptight.  Almost every poster above who tried add humor to this thread got negged, and I've noticed it on other threads too.

Maybe Billy Graham has a blog you'd be more interested in.

You're a HE-MAN-WOMAN-HATERS-CLUB charter member huh? Adding humor doesn't have to be misogynistic and belittling to woman.

If a male reporter made the same mistake, would it be funny to post that he should get spanked and remove clothing at a tailgate? Also, why the fuck do you even think that is funny?

and no it wasn't that funny, but I took it for what it was, a joke.  Animal House references tend to make me laugh anyhow.  Most women I know enjoy this type of humor too, and can more than hold their own in exchanges like this.

It's funny, I've enjoyed reading many of your posts on this blog lately.  I'm surprised by your heated response.  More than one reason to be afraid of you?  He he he - okay tough guy - I fear nobody, ever.  When is the 500th anyhow?  I have my tix for the UMass game - just had to get to the Big House at least once this year and an opportunity came up to grab decent seats.

In any case I was only defending a guy who has a different sense of humor that you do.  He certainly meant no harm and wasn't degrading all the women out there.  Anyhow I hope you enjoy the season - that we ALL have reasons to enjoy the season.  You are, after all, a fellow blue fan.

asswipe.  But when you hit "reply", the tagline shows in the same font as the post...it should really be a different font, as it is on the thread.  That explains why his reply seemed stronger than necessary.

Sorry if not everyone has 6,000 points and knows everything like you.  You guys should really lobby to shut the site down to newer users.  Anyone with less than 1000 points is out, and no new activations allowed.  Clearly that's what you want.

I guess you nailed me with that response, but just curious why my handle is so awful.  I've hated ND ever since they were the only team on TV every Saturday like we were being force-fed (I'm almost 50 now, so that goes back a few years!).

The "Sux" part I got from a text my daughter sent me that day.  I guess I couldn't think of anything more clever, and I wanted to get signed up and start interacting. One thing for sure is I would NEVER associate myself with Fidel Castro.

that is wrong with the internet.

P.S. the "humor" is not the least bit funny.  And railing against people for being "PC" doesn't validate your idiotic posts.  Try and act like a normal human being, it's fun.

ND Sux

but I'll decide what I think is funny.  I'll give my posts an extra read, but I just thought the negging was unnecessary.  Being PC doesn't make you any better person than anyone else - IMO it is often faked.  I'm a 100% honest, hard working, productive human being with a good heart.  I have nothing to apologize to anyone for.  My character never wavers, and will stand against anyone else's every day of the week.

Thanks for the feedback even if we don't agree...you have every right to your viewpoint.  Looking forward to a great season this year and I hope you enjoy it too.
