Its not so much marijuana as it's a direct violation of what your coach/team/organization sets as a team rule. Obviously guys, including our own, break rules. Its how certain coaches and teams respond to it will hopefully set the precedent for the next guy. If Michigan has a rule in place and you're an athlete, don't break it. There's too much on the line for many of these kids.

I'm sure Cole had plenty of opportunity to turn things around and clean himself up while still at Michigan.  But, for whatever reason, Harbaugh decided he'd had enough.  Hopefully, that slap in the face (and the humiliation that comes with it) woke him up and got his attention.  I hope he can recover and have a great career.  And I don't blame him for looking at Bama over UK.  I mean seriously, unless he wanted to switch to bball, he'd be a fool to choose Kentucky football over Alabama - if he had a real shot at playing for Alabama.

"Him and Kinnell could have been..."

Just awful. Here's a rule that can help - if you can take out the "and [x]" part of the subject and still sound like someone with at least a 3rd grade education, then you got it right. Thus, your sentence would start "Him could have been...", which makes you sound like a 5 year old. Just a tip.
