Big Ten Network's "Greatest Big Ten Games"
Just thought I would share that Hulu has linked many great videos from the BTN Greatest games. Currently, I am watching '97 M-osu.
Happy viewing

Coming from someone with neither cable nor tv, this is heaven. Thank you for this.
That is welcome information.
My plan is to watch this game in small segments for the next month. That way I'll have some fantastic Michigan football to watch every day until we get some new material.
This may trump your youtube channel.
In the '97 game @ 21:50, Joe Germaine is walking across the field after an incomplete pass. The problem for Joe is, he walked next to Glen Steele. Just a small fore arm push but the fear in Joe's eyes is priceless.
Awesome quote. Can't believe I've never heard that before.

he said it on Michigan vs Ohio State - The Rivalry which I got from MGovideo.
He also cracks on the punter which is a +1 from me every time.
Not exactly related, but Friday at 10 (I think) B10 Network will be showing footage from one of our practices this week.

Thanks for the link, as I just watched Illinois' victory at Ohio State in 2007. It really made my day!

God I wish I had a copy of that 2007 game against msu in HD...

Is it just me or has the BTN programming really SUCKED over the past 2 weeks or so? It's like they play those (insert B10 school name here) Programming infomercials constantly on a loop. What happened to all the games that I used to count on to put me to sleep at night?

It's not just you. I'm really disappointed in their coverage for the upcoming season. I've got a post in Brian's tiller that shows just how much (or little) is being shown as far as live sports. I can's wait for them to start live streaming more games.

Campus programming is the worst thing ever.

It appears BoiledSports (Purdue blog) was thinking the same thing tonight.

It's a necessary evil, though. I'd prefer that they attempt to create some content like the HBO "The Rivalry" special for all 11 teams and base entire days in the summer around a certain school. Obviously not every team is as tradition rich as us, but you should be able to milk at least two hour long specials from all 11 teams.

They didn't have new original programming, but they did have a day dedicated to each school. They would show a few of the university's greatest games, big ten short stories and greatest stories. Just prior to this current loop of campus programming they had Northwestern day and I think they had Michigan State day earlier in the same week.
I think that Greatest Stories is probably the content you're looking for and it's pretty good, although I don't think they exist for every school yet.

Thank you sir for making my 3rd shift a bit better tonight.

I wonder why these guys feel compelled to cut so much content out of games to squeeze them into two hours. It's not as if the Big Ten Network has an abundance of quality programming that they need to cram into their summertime 24-7 schedule. The dumbasses also put the final score into the description for all the games so that if you legitimately can't remember who won a game 10 years ago, you will find out when you read the guide info on it.

ESPN classic does this also, probably one of the reasons it's on it's way to being ESPN Soccer.

Lately ESPN has gotten better about that. The games that they show on ESPNU are usually 3 hours long and don't have any cut content. The Big 10 Network should start doing this.

All that is pretty bad, but I think that the worst thing they do is when they show an upcoming play right before the commercials.
