Big 10 Championship Game Open Thread
No meteors seem in the forecast in the greater Indiana area per NASA, so we'll be forced to watch our top 2 competitors in the East face off. Short of a 25+ pt blowout MSU is destined for the Rose, OSU is playing for the right to give up 60 pts to Florida State.
Have at it....

Running quarterbacks sometimes works.

I'm sorry, but Gus Johnson is way out of his element calling football. Yes Gus, quarterbacks often keep the ball on the option.

Langford's run makes me think that, if Ohio State should be too proud to accept the lead and opt to return it on this drive, there would be something rather laughable about that predicament.
...and I'll agree with Fox here - Dan France pretty much minimized the opportunity to get a first down. If they go for this first down, it will be an interesting pivot point in the game certainly.
...and wow, Cook keeps on the option. First down MSU.

How many times is msu gonna throw the ball behind the line of scrimmage? Every single time osu overpowers the blockers and it ends up as a loss

That Langford run when he cut through a few guys and bounced off a few others was huge in changing complexion as it was all OSU momentum

Bosa really is something. This is like Suh in the Big 12 championship game a few years ago but Suh was a senior.

Agreed. Suh's game was one for the ages for that position. Bosa impacting nearly every other play however, as a freshman.

Bosa was playing HS a year ago.

And MSU has a freshman FG kicker who has missed once entire year...

Stanford crushes ASU, Stanford MSU should be a pretty boring game of 2 teams that mirror each other.

Bullough's name hasn't been called too much tonight. Every time I watch him he gets knocked on his ass by a blocker.

You guys are pussies. We'll get our shit together once Green, Smith, Funchess, Magnuson, Bosch etc. are older. Ohio and MSU have tons of upperclassmen on their teams.

Ed Davis is the next great MSU LB. sigh.
December 7th, 2013 at 11:08 PM ^
Why? Because an OG whiffed on a block and gave him a clear path on a blitz?

Did you watch the UM game? the 1st half here. It is not one play. Playmakers have a nose for the ball. He had 2.5 sacks vs UM as a backup.
