BBall Recruiting - New 18 Target/EM#141 Tyrese Haliburton
New guard target - 18 PG Tyrese Haliburton - picking up Michigan interest in the last few weeks. I've been a fan of his game for quite some time as a tall PG with great vision and a nice handle. Lacks the profile of bigger prospects because he doesn't play on a shoe circuit for AAU, but played really well this July against shoe circuit squads. Once his frame fills out, definitely think he has the potential to be a really nice guard in college. Has a similar frame to Caris is HS.
Haliburton is looking to set up a visit in the near future.

at 6'5 with a good shot he can play the wing/SG spot as well. Just needs to add 20lbs of muscle mass more than anything.

from a physical standpoint at the same age. Think Caris had a bit better handle and more explosion at the same age whereas Haliburton has better vision/passing and a superior stroke.
Either way I think you're looking at a guy that's unlikely to contribute as a freshman...........but once he adds 20 pounds of muscle, look out because he's going to be extremely good. Exact type of kid Coach Beilein turns into a pro.
I'll certainly be tracking him his senior year.........think he has a real shot to be a top 75 type player when all said and done.

On the board. But will be more interesting to see which end up coming to Ann Arbor. I trust in Beilein.
