Bars open for noon games?
I have frequented the traditional tailgates for years since undergrad at UM and was looking to switch it up one of these games. I was wondering if/when bars open for some Saturday morning drinking. Ideally Main St. area, but State St. and South U. are not out of the question. Was hoping to make a few stops on my migration to the Big House.
Ashley's? BWW? Packard Pub? Connor's? Thanks for the insight. Go Blue!

This is America. You can take rails of coke off a strippers tit at 8AM if you want. Have fun out there.

Not sure when Arena opens but I do know they usually have a build-your-own bloody mary bar before the games.

to playing any time of the day. Whatever the coaches ask of him. The team, the team, the team.

I know of no bar in Ann Arbor that is open at 8 AM. The Brown Jug and the Blue Leprachaun (both on South U) open at 9 AM. Those are the places I usually hit up prior to a Noon game when I eschew tailgating. Charleys, BW3, and most of the other bars just off campus are open by 11:00, which is baffling to me since I would think there is some money to be made by being open earlier on a football Saturday.

I did this last week...angelos for breakfast at 7 then walked to the bar. ashley's, bww, connors, red hawk all closed. dominiks opened at 8 so we sat there and drank constant buzz and sangria most of the morning

BW3 is open certainly at 9 (because I'm there then), and I think they open at 8.

I am guessing they open plenty early, since they are used to having a junior league in the bowling center at 9 am anyway.

Second person to mention Frasers but they are open at 8:30am every Saturday. Like the previous poster said, cheap drinks and decent food.

In a similar vein, are there any late-night place besides the Fleetwood open near campus? Say, between 2:00 AM and 6:30 AM? Are there any bars that serve until 2:00 AM and allow you to drink-up until 2:30?
