26/52 is VERY low volume, and as noted with your overall attempts, he just didn't shoot that much.

Defensively, an absolute liability. Couldn't guard anyone, consistently getting beat on the dribble, what have you.

Couldn't rebound well for someone with his hops. Didn't get any assists, really anything of note.

Good kid, nice role player from time to time. But he didn't do much.

I think it's a big loss. I think Irvin, Walton and MAAR were Michigan's top 3 players by far. It was quite clearly Robinson and Dawkins rounding out the top 5. There was a huge drop off after that.

To replace him, next year you are basically counting on Wagner to break out or Simpson to be an instant impact player right away. Even if we make this assumption, Dawkins would still be at worst in the top 8 on the roster. He also was the most athletic player on the team, something Michigan is sorely lacking.

I also think this may not be the end for Beilein, but it's the beginning of the end for Beilein. I fail to see how this team improves next year and nothing in the pipeline in terms of recruiting would suggest improvement beyond next year.

Good kid, great athlete, should do well at UCF...

Just not a good fit here anymore. He did not get his shots in the flow of the offense it was basically him launching from an odd angle and stopping our offensive flow/ball movement/people movement...

Beilein is making sure he puts together a team that takes care of the ball, passes, and runs the offense and that's why Doyle and Dawkins are gone (even though it may have been mutual).

Look at how far chemistry and smart decision making got Villanova ...

Good luck Aubrey, I don't think Ive ever seen someone with so much raw talent have such a low basketball IQ.  Especially when their dad is a D-1 coach.  Hopefully his pops can get through to him.

This is a big win for Aubrey and his dad, and a loss for Michigan.  Aubrey was probably never going to set the world on fire, but he had two years left.   He was doing his best.  What more can you ask?

As far as replacing him, UM probably needs someone who can distribute and guard the perimeter more than anything else, unless there's an elite Big or scorer out there who hasn't decided and wants Michigan.  Seems unlikely.

We need someone who will dunk in somebody's face. Someone who will throw that shit to the third row. I vote wing. I love spike, but we are severely lacking a freakish athlete.

Thisis the beginning of the end of the John Beilein era.

Can't come fast enough.
