One month ago, the author ranked Penn State's uniforms ahead of Michigan in the Big Ten:

And speaking of helmets, let's talk about the cleanest, whitest, brightest helmet in college football. I liken the Penn State uniform to a luxury sedan: clean, sleek and without a need for any after-market tweaking. It's a functional uniform beautifully designed to play football in and look good doing it.

Now, a month later, he ranks Penn State #3 and Michigan #1:

The same text was basically used for both entries (meaning, the Big Ten rankings and then the CFB rankings).  Oh, Notre Dame is #2 overall (and hopefully #1 with Independents unless Navy beat them out...)

I was just about to point out some of the contradictions in these articles, but the thing to keep in mind is that survey of overall college uniforms included many more "writers" than for the Big Ten alone. The larger survey put UM at the top, which demonstrates greater national recognition (also, the Big Ten only survey put Rutgers uniforms above Indiana, so the credibility is highly suspect already). Of course it's all clickbait, but this is still off-season.

 but those weirdos really do believe their uniforms are somehow unique ,white practice uniforms? penn state is just a strange group of people. but they will call michigans ugly and harbaugh is a freak to them. do they not make mirrors in that part of the country?

Nice to see that Staee's puke green unis did not make the list; but that was to be expected. Except for ND, there are virtually no bad teams on the list.

A couple of years ago the Wall Street Journal evaluated football uniforms nationally, not by conference. They deemed Michigan uniforms best by far.  I'll stick with the WSJ opinion.

Anyone else feel like athlon sports is clueless? I'm not talking about the uniforms but some of their upsets and conference picks seem straight up terrible.

I will never understand why people like Penn State's uniforms.  They have to be the most boring in the entire country.  This look isn't "clean", it's bland and uninteresting.
