Are we expecting any recruiting announcements soon?

I apologize if this isn’t the best topic, but I was curious if anyone knew when our remaining recruit targets would be announcing their decisions. This was a big visitor weekend but I haven’t seen any news, and I know if there was something newsworthy they would have posted it here. I haven’t been able to find much as far as any upcoming announcements. Especially with the 2 transfers that visited, I don’t know if we are expecting a quick decision, who else they are interested in etc. If anyone has any details please let us know.

Recruiting news for the 22 class has been kind of limited as of late. We’ve had all kinds of visitors and momentum, yet the new news has been pretty silent.

Yes, here is an announcement in case you missed it:

2021 BIG TEN CHAMPIONS

Seriously though, I wouldn't expect to hear much now. Dead period starts tomorrow with Early Signing Day on Wednesday 12/15. Wednesday is the day when you will hear who is in and out for now, and that is the day you should probably tune in for anything. The final stretch of recruiting will recommence after the CFP National Championship Game.

Collateral Whiz

As others have said think a lot of decisions will be coming when the early signing day opens up on Wednesday.  Some recruiting news that I have found the last couple of days is that Deone Walker did make it to Michigan for his official visit prior to the weekend.  It's hard to tell if we made up any ground on Kentucky where he's visiting/visited this weekend, but it's good news he made it in.  Walker visit

The other news is that 3 big time prospects were expected to be on campus this weekend.  Derrick Moore (DL ranked 79 overall), Darrius Clemons (WR, #130 overall) and Alex Orji (Ha ha, he said Orji, QB ranked 415 overall). There were also two very intriguing transfer targets on campus.  Visitor List

Also seems like we're still the odds on favorites to pick up Keon Sabb and flip Amorion Walker from Notre Dame.

Just wanted to add a couple things I've seen:

  • Walker had a comment that really stuck out, something like he's looking for a coaching staff he can 'trust.' If rumors are true about him being pissed about the way his friend's recruitment went, this seems like a negative comment, especially since it's a sorta unusual thing for a recruit to say in the way he said it.
  • Clemons put up a tweet with a pin emoji and Michigan. I wasn't sure what that meant at first, but looking back, I think it's pretty clear he's just saying he's visiting. But I'm not in the know about such things.

If he can trust the UK staff then why visit Michigan one last time before signing day? If he has issues with the staff over his buddy then it should’ve been resolved already or he should’ve moved on. I just don’t see how you make that comment and then visit one last time and those two things be connected to one another. For some reason I get the feeling he either is wanting out of Michigan or it’s a playing time thing for him.

My personal experience with recruiting informs me quite differently. I have found these young players/recruits to be very thoughtful and well-informed regarding their options and the ramifications of the decisions that confront them.

I am expecting Keon Sabb-and this is a monster flip...will be a team leader in every way.

It is late in the recruiting cycle and we made some nice pickups after beating OSU. I'm hoping to get a few surprises on the first signing day and the last one in FEB. May be we can get a top 10 class but a lot of the 3 stars look like potentially great players.

There was positive news on DT Walker posted by 247 (paywalled) 12 hours ago. Other than thought I do not know what we would know that google cannot teach you.
