Arby's Contest- Win season tickets to M football, basketball, AND hockey
Just saw this at Arby's, "The Big Ticket" contest. Text "wolverine" to 27297 to enter. Also, because this doesn't warrant a new thread, I was able to watch about a half hour of M football practice today, it was pretty cool as I was only about 50 feet away. The tarp or whatever was blown down by the wind for about a 10 yard stretch of the fence, where I just happened to be paying a visit to the CSSB building. DG looks monstrous out there, immediately stood out physically. Greg Robinson's hair was tremendous. I kept waiting for someone to come tell me to kick rocks, but they either didn't notice or didn't care.

I'm thinking Arby's...

Was Tate lacking em?

DG wasn't with the QB's for whatever reason. The QB's were on the field next to the one I could see, but were blocked from view, I could only see winged helmets, didn't notice any plain ones.

OMG!! What could that possibly mean!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was being sarcastic, I could really care less who has wings and who doesn't. I'm more concerned with how the team is performing thus far than the decorations they have on during practice.

You watched a half-hour of practice, and you gave the Arbys thing top billing? Man, you buried the lead there. I'd recommend changing the title to "I got to watch practice; who wants to touch me??? (also, Arbys is doing something cool)"
Fill us in here. What did you see? Who had wings? Who looked big and good at football?

They were running drills that might bore a normal person, and spent some of the half hour getting some verbal teaching from Gerg that I couldn't hear. I could only see the LB's and RB's, and there was no contact. DG was running pass routes with the RB's, and looked like he could easily dominate at that position, just looked like a very very large and fast man. He has good hands, and looked agile out there. Roh looked big, maybe just because it was in person. I couldn't really tell much about anyone, it was just cool to get a sneak peek up close.

A ten yard stretch of fence was visible and the freep didn't spin it as "Rodriguez unable to control voluntary practices, compliance officials, and now... wind".

Seeing as how I already bought football and hockey tickets. Or is this for 2011-12?

But if you have to actually eat Arby's to win the contest, you can't win.

Arby's should give away a roast beef sandwich every time Denard gets a hat trick.*
*runs, throws, and catches a touchdown in a single game.

I think we should call that the cycle more than a hat trick. We might be hearing, "Denard scored the cycle against xxxx" a lot this fall. (Hopefully)

It would be a "dread trick", wouldn't it?
ps - I believe he would throw, catch and run for a touchdown - all on the same play.
