Purdue 2 seed, Michigan and MSU both 3 seeds.

Purdue and Michigan in Detroit - MSU sent to Nashville where they get annhilated by Kentucky.

I could be wrong, but I think the regionals are relatively flexible. The regionals are decided by what is most ideal for the highest seed in the regional (1-4 seeds) with precendence going to the highest seeds. So with two regionals in Detroit, and the only two teams in consideration who would be closest to Detroit being MSU and Purdue, We mostly just have to beat out one of those two on the S-Curve to stay home and play.

For example, the current bracket Matrix would go as follows:

1 Seed - Virginia - Charlotte

1 Seed - VIllanova - Pittsburgh

1 Seed - Xavier - Nashville

1 Seed - Kansas - Wichita

2 Seed - Duke - Charlotte

2 Seed - Purdue - Detroit

2 Seed - North Carolina - Nashville

2 Seed - Michigan State - Detroit

3 Seed - Auburn - Dallas

3 Seed - Cincinatti - Pittsburgh

3 Seed - Tennessee - Dallas

3 Seed - Wichita St. - Boise

4 Seed - Texas Tech - Wichita

4 Seed - West Virginia - Boise

4 Seed - Michigan - San Diego

4 Seed - Clemson - San Diego

Michigan would have to hop over Michigan state in the S-Curve, and hope to have one of the teams that could go either way (Xavier or Purdue) head to Nashville instead. It is certainly possible the we play in Detroit.

This is just more evidence that ESPN is out to destroy MSU.

In fact, I think ESPN might have planted Nasser at MSU 25 years ago, and is just now seeing its long war against the school reach its final stages...

I just can't figure out how to go back and look at old articles. I'm an idiot. Can anyone help me find the This Weeks's Obsession round table from a number of weeks back where the guys discuss what the team needed to have happen to really take it up a notch? I thought it would be fun to revisit that article and see how many have come to fruition. I know Duncan getting fixed was one for sure. TIA!

I'd like to say they are a lock for at least a 3 seed, but I've learned that nothing is a lock when it comes to selection process. Get some rest, get heathy, practice free throws, and Go Blue!

If slapping the floor proves you're tough and determined, does that mean we should ship the trophy up to East Lansing — cuz they're WAY better than Michigan at doing that.

(My internet's been out so I may have missed someone else making this observation.)
