Via Sam,,,,

@CoachJim4UM: "Aidan came to me and said let's dedicate this game to Tate Myre... then we looked up at the score and saw 42..."

@aidanhutch97: "God works in mysterious ways"

(no religion.  Just saying)

By God, we mean Jim blatantly running up the score with flea flickers and what not while up 25 on a team with no offense late in the fourth.

(I'm all for it, but let's be clear here)

Your first sentence is odd for someone all for it.

You don't think our seeding in the playoff is important?  The game may be over but UofM was still playing for something.  If you want a heartless team to show up in the playoffs then find someone else to root for, this team showed they are immensely hungry to keep playing football this year.  Iowa did not.  I'm glad they didn't take their foot off the gas, I'd like them to continue with that mentality for 2 more games.

I put it together when they showed Harbaugh and Corum on the sidelines after the final touchdown.  When Harbaugh pointed to the patch, I told my wife that's why they didn't run out the clock. They wanted to get to 42. It was a very nice and thoughtful gesture to honor those affected by the senseless tragedy in Oxford.
