2021 Season? Let’s talk 6th Place B1G Battle

Submitted by Remember_the_G… on December 2nd, 2020 at 7:15 PM

With the precedent that Wisconsin only missed two weeks with their cancellations it seems somewhat likely we’ll have at least one more game in the 2020 season. Who are we more psyched to lose to?

It looks like it will be an exciting fight between Purdue, Nebraska, Minnesota and Illinois for the bottom of the West. Since Minnesota is out would we rather lose to Karlaftis, Scott Frost or Brandon Peters?

I would not be terribly upset if Peters lit us up.  We're not playing for anything meaningful, and I still root for the guy.  However, I hope Scott Frost loses at everything in life.  If I was coaching against him and had the talent, I would try to put up 100 on him each time.  Fuck that guy.

This is actually a legitimately good question. Irrational hope I suppose.

Michigan football is really the only team I follow. Otherwise I just casually follow the rest of the pro leagues and Michigan bball. Michigan football is the thing I probably put the most emotional stock in and this year has been legitimately depressing so talking about how crappy we are with other fans has been strangely comforting and also somehow makes it seem like this is not a normal season and things could change.

I will seriously watch us play the 6th place team from the West and hope we won just like I was seriously treating Penn State like a rivalry game last weekend.

Illinois or Nebraska.

Quarterbacks for both teams are highly motivated; ex-Wolverine Brandon Peters obviously for Illinois, but Nebraska’s Luke McCaffrey gets a chance to reclaim a bit of family honor over what happened with his older brother in Ann Arbor.

I would like to see Cade in a more winnable game! Which was the real Cade ...Rutgers or psu? I'm thinking Rutgers cause he didn't have that shoulder injury! Maybe one of the only highlights going into next year thinking we might have a quarterback?

I'd relish an opportunity to kick Scott Frost's a**. And--it bears repeating--the games should be first and foremost for the kids, however much of a mockery of a travesty of a damn shame college football gets to be. Until I hear that they want to give up, I won't give up on them.

All of the above by how bad our team played against PSU. Michigan could be THE worst team in the B1G at this time. If Mc Namara's shoulder injury were to be near 100% healed, we have a chance of winning against these teams listed above.
