2021 Season? Let’s talk 6th Place B1G Battle
With the precedent that Wisconsin only missed two weeks with their cancellations it seems somewhat likely we’ll have at least one more game in the 2020 season. Who are we more psyched to lose to?
It looks like it will be an exciting fight between Purdue, Nebraska, Minnesota and Illinois for the bottom of the West. Since Minnesota is out would we rather lose to Karlaftis, Scott Frost or Brandon Peters?

Stop drinking and watch MBB on BTN.
December 2nd, 2020 at 7:23 PM ^
I’m thinking Scotty McFrosty gets his win over Michigan.
December 2nd, 2020 at 7:40 PM ^
Probably either Frost wins or Brandon Peters will light us up because there is no bottom.
December 2nd, 2020 at 11:27 PM ^
I would not be terribly upset if Peters lit us up. We're not playing for anything meaningful, and I still root for the guy. However, I hope Scott Frost loses at everything in life. If I was coaching against him and had the talent, I would try to put up 100 on him each time. Fuck that guy.

Although you have to admit it’s somewhat odd that Frost has the least talented of the Mccaffreys but is already doing more with him than Harbaugh ever could with the higher ranked brother.
December 3rd, 2020 at 5:28 AM ^
He is? Nebraska has won fewer games than Michigan.
December 3rd, 2020 at 11:36 AM ^
True, but at least they could beat Penn State at home.
December 3rd, 2020 at 4:01 PM ^
Frost with McCaffrey at Nebraska: 1-1
Harbaugh with McCaffrey at Michigan: 0-0
December 3rd, 2020 at 1:11 PM ^
Am I the only one that sees Johnny Lawrence from the original Karate Kid when I see Scott Frost? Even going back to his playing days, he seemed to have a bully demeanor.
December 2nd, 2020 at 7:44 PM ^
Any team in the bottom of the West is not an automatic loss. Wouldn't mind facing Nebraska since we barely have played them.
December 2nd, 2020 at 11:45 PM ^
It would be cool to see Luke McCaffrey get revenge for his brother.
December 3rd, 2020 at 11:39 AM ^
I would be really concerned about playing Nebraska or Purdue. They both are able to attack the edge of the defense well. I just don't see Michigan being able to keep up in scoring with Nebraska or Purdue. Let's hope for Illinois.

What a miserable, useless post.

What a miserable, useless season.
December 2nd, 2020 at 8:11 PM ^
... for the crappy teams, meanwhile ND, BYU, Cincinnati appear to be enjoying the season quite a lot
December 2nd, 2020 at 7:51 PM ^
Purdue would be a good game I think. Should be fairly even and competitive.
December 2nd, 2020 at 8:02 PM ^
Michigan V Nebraska
Loser has to extend their coach 10 more years.
Winner gets Campbell.
Objections?
December 3rd, 2020 at 2:05 AM ^
Objection. I don’t want 10 more years of Harbaugh so I’m not in favor. Nebraska beats us, without issue.
December 3rd, 2020 at 11:28 AM ^
Doesn’t Campbell get any say in this? I don’t think Nebraska would be remotely on his radar.
December 2nd, 2020 at 8:05 PM ^
Illinois.
I gotta see Peters take on Harbaugh
December 2nd, 2020 at 8:09 PM ^
Frost smacking around JH would be a fitting end to the Harbaugh era at Michigan.
December 2nd, 2020 at 8:09 PM ^
Nebraska. Would be fitting to lose to them since they didn't quite lose to Rutgers.
December 2nd, 2020 at 9:11 PM ^
I don't like Nebraska; however, they have a lot of fight compared to UM. They will out hit for sure.
December 2nd, 2020 at 8:22 PM ^
Why are you still a Michigan fan if they clearly make you miserable?
December 2nd, 2020 at 8:47 PM ^
This is actually a legitimately good question. Irrational hope I suppose.
Michigan football is really the only team I follow. Otherwise I just casually follow the rest of the pro leagues and Michigan bball. Michigan football is the thing I probably put the most emotional stock in and this year has been legitimately depressing so talking about how crappy we are with other fans has been strangely comforting and also somehow makes it seem like this is not a normal season and things could change.
I will seriously watch us play the 6th place team from the West and hope we won just like I was seriously treating Penn State like a rivalry game last weekend.
December 2nd, 2020 at 10:13 PM ^
Illinois or Nebraska.
Quarterbacks for both teams are highly motivated; ex-Wolverine Brandon Peters obviously for Illinois, but Nebraska’s Luke McCaffrey gets a chance to reclaim a bit of family honor over what happened with his older brother in Ann Arbor.
December 2nd, 2020 at 11:34 PM ^
I would like to see Cade in a more winnable game! Which was the real Cade ...Rutgers or psu? I'm thinking Rutgers cause he didn't have that shoulder injury! Maybe one of the only highlights going into next year thinking we might have a quarterback?
December 3rd, 2020 at 12:19 AM ^
This post deserves the ban hammer.
December 3rd, 2020 at 12:30 AM ^
I’ve been banned before for participating in making John OKorn jokes after a 2017 game (I don’t recall which game and it was basically just saying he was bad) so I guess this would be a pattern of me dealing with bad seasons by getting banned.
December 3rd, 2020 at 9:49 AM ^
I'd relish an opportunity to kick Scott Frost's a**. And--it bears repeating--the games should be first and foremost for the kids, however much of a mockery of a travesty of a damn shame college football gets to be. Until I hear that they want to give up, I won't give up on them.
December 3rd, 2020 at 12:24 PM ^
All of the above by how bad our team played against PSU. Michigan could be THE worst team in the B1G at this time. If Mc Namara's shoulder injury were to be near 100% healed, we have a chance of winning against these teams listed above.
