A 2018 NFL Mock Draft that has me baffled....
I was just scrolling some random news articles on my phone and I saw a 2018 NFL Mock Draft(http://www.metro.us/sports/2018-nfl-mock-draft-sam-darnold-chargers)
thought I would check it out. Nothing seemed to crazy about it, until I go to pick number 28.....
28. Atlanta Falcons: Parris Campbell, WR, Ohio State
I stopped and tried to rack my brain. I know the name, but didn't even think he was among their best 2 WRs. I looked up his career stats.....

13 Catches for 121 yards and 0 TDs in his first 3 college seasons(redshirted 2014), and hes going to be a first round pick next year? What am I missing here? The guy that made this mock is either a huge OSU fan, or he is smoking something real good.
Who knows. If Zach Smith spends his time actually coaching instead of constantly making an ass of himself on twitter, Campbell might improve.
Well, he was a starter in 2015 vs VT but got injured that year. Not sure why he saw so little time in 2016.

That's cool and all, I mean there is some really weird crap out there on the internets.
In one 2019 mock draft I just read they had Rashan Gary returning to Michigan for his senior year despite winning the 2018 Heisman and leading UM to a national championship, and being mocked #1 overall (if declaring... but won't be declaring because yeah).
Just be careful what you read out there.

All mocks drafts this early look stupid. I believe most mock drafts last year had Kizer going number 1 overall to the Browns but then the 4-8 season happened. Ironically, he still ended up getting drafted by the Browns it was just 51 picks later than the "experts" predicted.

This just shows you how many people the bucknuts have in the media who hype up their players and program. When you are rock bottom for so long, you will do anything to win. This is one of the things they have done successfully. Pathetic but successful. You can argue with me all day if you want but I'm right. They get smoked in the playoffs last year and they shouldn't have even been there. They'll be #1 at the start of this season. Maybe #2. They get hyped up every year and throughout the season making them look better than they are. This year, they actually do have a lot of players coming back but they have lost a lot too. Same shit different day.

Hubbard's numbers last year aren't eye-popping, but part of that is due to a Ohio State rotating 4 DEs pretty consistently. In Larry Johnson's and Urban's view all 4 DEs (Sam Hubbard, Nick Bosa, Jalyn Holmes, and Tyquan Lewis) are essentially equally with Lewis and Hubbard being the listed starters. So much so that Larry Johnson created a whole new package of plays called the "Rush Men" where all 4 DEs line up together for an all-out rush.

So far Campbell has made only made a big impact as OSU's best KR, but he is slated to take over Curtis Samuel's position as the H-Back in Urban's Offense. Now that Campbell has free reign of the H-Back position, his number of touches should be ridiculously high this upcoming season. If the writer is taking a wild guess based on potential than Campbell is the "X-Factor" to pick on OSU's offense.

is basically giving us 32 names to know. Don't take it as gospel, don't be an idiot. It's just interesting to see who a lot of these guys have on the top of their boards this early. Obviously plenty of it is fluid as there's at least 12 games for more guys to pop up or fall back.
Check some of the so-called experts' grades for the 2017 NFL Draft. The Sporting News has seven teams graded as C- or worse. LINK ESPN's Mel Kiper gave eleven teams a grade of C+ or worse. LINK for those with ESPN Insider Access To ESPN's credit, Todd McShay says Jourdan Lewis was the Cowboys' best pick and Jake Butt was the Broncos; best pick!
