2018 Classic - Wendy's Twitter Scorches Nebraska, Scott Frost
Before we leave Nebraska and head into the Bye week, thought the folks on the board might enjoy remembering this classic 2018 exchange between the Wendy's Twitter account and Nebraska fans following Michigan's 56-10 ass kicking of the Cornholes
The original joke from Wendy's Twitter account, "Might need a Scott Frosty to ice down the beating Nebraska is taking", is somewhat comical. The exchange between the Cornhole fans and Wendy's following this is hilarious. Wendy's is having none of the "red ass" attitude from the Nebraska faithful - they just keep doubling down with more digs and sarcasm.
I thought it might provide a few Sunday smiles following a great win in Lincoln yesterday. Go Blue!!!

I will say the major thing I learned this week is Nebraska nice is bullshit. Some of the most sour aholes I have ever met there.

I’m sure our fanbase isn’t the most pleasant either when our team sucks ass. They basically thought Frost was gonna make them a title contender which is funny because Pelini at least had them at 9 wins every year he was there.

Should've come to the Wisconsin game. The fans were congratulating us and wishing us good luck for the rest of the season. The cashier at the 7-11 said that she was sad that they lost, but she really enjoyed watching Michigan play.

Wisconsin people are basically Canadian and constantly say sorry for things that are not their fault. I’ve been to Lambeau (as a Bears fan) and they were so nice. I told some of the Packer fans that they needed to be bigger assholes so I could hate them more. Nope! They didn’t listen!

I’ve heard the opposite about Wisconsin fans from a loss a few years ago. I’ve also read here that Nebraska fans would welcome away fans with a smile. Seriously everybody’s experience is different. The only constant is Ohio state fans are assholes to Michigan fans.

That’s not what I experienced last night. After a crippling lose, not a single fan disparaged us walking back to car. A significant number of stranger stopped us, thanked us for showing up, and congratulated Michigan on a good win and a great game. They were disappointed, sure, but not a one of them were ‘sour asses’.

That was my experience too. It might have helped that I was with a Nebraska fan, but all of the people seated near us were pleasant and did not give me any grief for my Michigan bling. It was a great experience all around there!

My experience as an away fan at a Nebraska/Michigan game was that they were some of the friendliest fans I had ever encountered ... to the point that I was looking around for the hidden camera to see if I was being punked.

There are 27 Wendy's locations in Nebraska, including six (6!) in Lincoln, alone. I'm glad they got over their anger and embraced drive-thru chili.

Their commercials where they show the “McBoredroom” are hilarious.
Also, they have the best nuggets and fries - real chicken and real potatoes.

I don’t know whose worse Nois Basketball Fans, Nebraska coach or Ohio fans? They all suck in my opinion.
