If we do this, just know that I will run the train on all of you. By train, though, I mean I will pass the train all over you. Ask BGH, he's got nothing. I've got a PS3 for the record. Actually, I am always dominant in my circle of friends, and thought it'd be awesome to see how I stack up against people I don't really know IRL.

It's always fun to venture outside your circle of friends to see totally different styles of play, especially in fight night and NCAA.

And I mean the regular old game-based dynasty, not that newfangled internets one. Has anyone else noticed this? While you're hoarding 12 five-star recruits into your class, none of the other five stars pan out when they go to other schools? Basically you play three years of dynasty and you're '95 Nebraska not because you're that good but because everyone else is all of a sudden very, very average. Try it yourself: play three to four years of dynasty and USC's best player will be a 93 or thereabouts. I hope they fix that this time around.

it not to be better.  i have a feeling the online dynasty might be the only way they fix it.  then again ive noticed that other teams just tend to get that one major guy who kicks my ass.  then again i always start as texas tech and have to deal with OU and Texas getting better recruits for at least 10-12 years.

...was that it was too easy. I'm now at 102 wins in a row on Heisman on my dynasty (in 2027 now). I don't like being able to win every game. In fact, I'd like to get trounced every once in a while. It happened a few times when I was with my first few teams, but once I got to UM (I always build up other teams then go to UM) I have been unstoppable. I hope EA either makes Heisman (and all the other levels) somewhat harder, or adds another difficulty level in there somewhere to make Heisman as near impossible as it was in the past. I also hope they accomplish this without the computer being able to pick off any pass they want, and your entire O-line getting obliterated off the snap on every play like 06. I thought 07 was a decent mix of difficulty. Formerly, I'm with you. I always start somewhere shitty and work my way up. On 08 I started at Bowling Green, then went to Baylor to Ole Miss and finally to Michigan. I won NC's at Baylor and Ole Miss before going to UM. It makes it a lot more fun to build yourself up as a coach than to start at USC and fuck everyone hard for 30 years.

Temple dynasty in 08 was the most difficult gaming experience of my life.  After being pushed to being an Independent, I lost just about all recruiting ability.  I dont think I made my first BCS bowl until like year 23.  The demo on xbox live didn't appear to be as ridiculous.  Linebackers and CBs didn't have gravity hands or teleport that I could tell.  The running back super-break tackle is gone too.  Running was so much more realistic.  QB competency does appear to be pretty substantial though.  If you throw too many picks without correctly identifying the defense, you tend to throw to the wrong receiver a lot.

My one complaint is the reconfiguration of runningback receiving tags.  Last game it was RB and Y.  RB this year is intentional grounding.  I must have had 150 yards of penalties from intentional grounding alone.  I couldn't find the legit throw away button that wouldnt cost yardage.

Yeah, I couldn't see ever taking on Temple. I'm thinking with 09 I might try and bring an FCS team up into the FBS and start with them. Something like Sam Houston. I was really disappointed with the difficulty of 08 to the point that in my second season with BGSU I was 13-0 and went to a BCS bowl. That shouldn't happen. I'm glad to see that the demo was substantially better. Gravity defying D-linemen who pick off passes 20 yards downfield get old real fast. Hopefully the AI won't allow Cheaty McStickemhands in 09 for the PS3.

temple was rough.  i always tend to build myself up at texas tech.  thats why i really hated 08 because heisman DBs are just too ridiculous.  Draws in the 09 version appear much more lifelike than past models.  If you pass enough, draws do open up much like play action passes do if you run enough.
