15 names for 8 spots

Yes another recruiting thread...sorry but it's that time of year. 14 commits and I've accepted that we will sign 22 and worry about 2012 later. So 8 spots left, 15 names on the board. 1. QB Bellomy 2. RB Rawls 3. FB Durham 4. OL Fisher 5. OL Bryant 6. OL Nowick 7. TE Barnett 8. DT Cooper 9. DE Issaka 10. DE Moreland 11. LB Clark 12. LB Willingham 13. LB Poole 14. CB McClure. 15. FS Raven Probably want the QB, a TE, 2 OL, DT, a LB or 2 (not all 3), and a DB or DE. Gonna be a wild finish.

3 weeks ago I thought it was the dawn of Dec 21, 2012...We have a great problem on our hands...not knowing who to take and not to take. The new coaches have done possibly the best recruiting job in the history of CFB recruiting. They had pretty much less than 3 weeks to salvage this class and now it looks as if this class will break into Top 25, possibly even better! It truly is Great to be a Michigan Wolverine!!!

It seems like you asked this exact same question yesterday.......and the day before, and the day before that.

Two weeks ago I would have never thought we would get a full class.  It's starting to look like we will now.  If we land Bryant, Fisher, and Cooper in part of the final 8 spots this will end up being a decent class.

an extra RB instead of the QB. This way we go into 2012 absolutely needing a QB and all prospective recruits knowing as such. I think at QB is the spot where having some decent competition there can scare off others the easiest. When you see the youngest guy is a redshirt sophomore then you know you are set to have a couple good years of starting.

Assuming the math is right and we have 22 spots (I've lost track at this point), here's my guess.

Silent/Very Likely Commits: Bryant, Clark, Willingham, Poole.

If that's the case then no more LB's and between Clark/Heitzman, I think one of them is a TE. Erase that need for this class.

So that leaves us 4 spots. I think they're bent on getting a QB, which I have no problem with, whether it be Bellomy or someone else. Call it Bellomy for argument's sake.

Rawls says he's qualified and I'll take his word for it and he fits a pro-style run game perfectly and wants to be here. Count him in.

Then it comes down to 2 (or less if they bank schollies) of Durham, Fisher, Nowick, Barnett, Cooper, Issaka, Moreland, McClure, Raven.

Paring that list down to guys who are reasonable options, that looks like Durham, Fisher, Cooper and Raven. If it came down to needs only, cross Raven out as well. I'd prefer Fisher/Cooper out of those 3 remaining but think Durham is the most likely of the 3.

My final guess: QB Bellomy, RB Rawls, FB Durham, TE/LB Clark, OL Bryant, OL Fisher, LB Poole, LB Willingham

shitty, I want Mcclure. Maybe he's not coming because Ray  Drew is coming and bringing his boy Avery Walls! Haha, totally kidding.

in all seriousness, I think we'll sign these 8 - Fisher,Bryant,Cooper,Willingham,Clark,Poole,Barnett,Rawls. If we don't get Barnett, throw the FB in. No thanks on QB. If we get Mcclure, Clark or Rawls gets dropped maybe. Kennedy can be 3rd QB for this season, he works hard and is pro style. If it comes to that we are screwed either way. Take 1 or 2 in next year's class or stash Cardale Jones at JUCO, lol
