Ooh SMU worth a look
October 19th, 2019 at 4:12 PM ^
And they look pretty good. Easy to forget their QB transferred from Texas.
October 19th, 2019 at 4:14 PM ^
Okay, here's the deal. I gotta go out tonight, so I'm depending on the MGoBoard to take charge
Make sure everyone's saying just the RIGHT things — positive reinforcement AND slams AND snarks AND quibbles AND Hot Takes AND OT takes

After one quarter:
Minnesota 7, RU 0
RU 2/4 in the air for 1 yard. They are on pace to quadruple their passing yards from last week!
I really don't understand how a team can have so many completions that go for negative yards.
October 19th, 2019 at 4:34 PM ^
I don’t understand how a team continues to exist at Rutgers
October 19th, 2019 at 5:12 PM ^
They are a HS team at this point.
I feel sorry for those kids. I hope they study hard and enjoy the scholarship.
October 19th, 2019 at 4:25 PM ^
I'm not sure if playing Rutgers is going to tell us much about Minnesota.
Minnesota's schedule to date has been a real Glen Mason special. He would always seem to start out 5-0 or 6-0 while playing absolutely no one, only to run into Michigan...
October 19th, 2019 at 4:28 PM ^
It's telling us a little. Minnie taking a while to put up points. Rutgers D actually playing today like they care.
Their O is still a raging tire fire.
October 19th, 2019 at 4:25 PM ^
Oregon - Wash is a good one. I'd like to see us take shots downfield like the Wash TD.
14-7 UW
October 19th, 2019 at 4:34 PM ^
Baylor - Fightin' Pickens is happening too. 7-6 Baylor in the 1st.
October 19th, 2019 at 4:40 PM ^
Watching Oregon-Washington over here.
The "intent to deceive" call is still hilarious because the play on which it was called was pretty fucking brilliant, I thought.
October 19th, 2019 at 5:14 PM ^
Same...great game
October 19th, 2019 at 5:14 PM ^
2nd dumbest thing is sports (the 1st is the trapezoid behind the goalie in the NHL)...
...EVERY offensive play is an "intent to deceive". A receiver in motion is deception. Play action is deception. A pump fake is deception.
The goal is to get as many yards from scrimmage as possible. Seesh!
October 19th, 2019 at 6:34 PM ^
The refs would lose their mind if the Mad Magicians were playing today.
October 19th, 2019 at 5:14 PM ^
I'm actually...surprised?...that it's only 14-0 in MN-Rutger. Given that MN ran for 300+ yards their last two games I expected double that.
If UW beats Oregon, that should officially take the PAC out of the playoff. I don't see the ASU-UU winner running the table.
October 19th, 2019 at 5:18 PM ^
If UW beats Oregon, that should officially take the PAC out of the playoff.
Was a PAC 12 team making it regardless?
It'm thinking it's OU, OSU, Clemson, and Bama from here on out anyway.
October 19th, 2019 at 5:58 PM ^
Sure.
I'm inclined to think that 2 SEC will get in this year.
But if I posted that first, the replies instead would have been "Clemson?"
October 19th, 2019 at 6:02 PM ^
Whoever wins the West will be in, but it's unlikely a 1 loss SEC team gets in over all those others if they're undefeated. Maybe Clemson gets passed if they just play terribly, but that seems unlikely.
October 19th, 2019 at 6:16 PM ^
Talking heads are trying to make a case for Oregon given their only loss is a virtual road game at Auburn.
October 19th, 2019 at 5:16 PM ^
25 U Dub up on the number 12 Ducks at half.
Man, I have a huge Chris Peterson man crush. Dude can just flat out coach.
October 19th, 2019 at 5:59 PM ^
I think he’s a good coach too. But at UW he’s gone 8-6, 7-6, 12-2, 10-3, 10-4 and 5-2. Not sure how happy we’d be with that record.
October 19th, 2019 at 6:12 PM ^
Hmmm...aren’t those pretty similar to UM’s records under Harbaugh? Petersen’s best year is better than ours, and his worst year (his second year at UW) is basically our trajectory this season (in year 5).
October 19th, 2019 at 6:40 PM ^
We wouldn't?! A playoff berth and some really good seasons. Exactly what we want. I guess you're implying the early years when he took over...a not good program, that was expected as all hell.
October 19th, 2019 at 6:04 PM ^
Washington looks pretty good. Another great home/home idea.
October 19th, 2019 at 6:16 PM ^
Those were some really good games back in the day.
October 19th, 2019 at 6:26 PM ^
What’s the story on the O’brien Place kick holder for minny? I’m at a bar with no sound but it looked pretty emotional.
October 19th, 2019 at 6:28 PM ^
Same here. Looks like they love their coach... equals ... results
October 19th, 2019 at 6:26 PM ^
Looks like Minny got a coach. Need to see how it plays out but 1st in the West. Year 2.
October 19th, 2019 at 6:37 PM ^
VT vs NC is an entertaining game. I remember talking to a VT fan a few years back, and we both were like 'yeah pretty happy with the new head coach, should be great going forward'. Now as perhaps underwhelming some of Harbaugh's time here has been...Fuente is probably legit getting fired if they don't close the season out well.
October 19th, 2019 at 6:38 PM ^
Oregon looking really sharp. That last touchdown pass was a thing of timing beauty.
October 19th, 2019 at 6:42 PM ^
Fire the cannon. Rutgers scored a touchdown. That makes 2 in nearly 5 conference games (OSU, PSU, MSU still all remaining).
October 19th, 2019 at 6:43 PM ^
Washington...not exactly imploding, but sort of.
And just like that big gain on 3rd and 20+. 4th and 3, here's the ball game...
October 19th, 2019 at 6:58 PM ^
October 19th, 2019 at 6:49 PM ^
Officials screw up another one.
October 19th, 2019 at 6:56 PM ^
Officiating needs to have third party accountability. Coaches get fired for not beating their rivals.
October 19th, 2019 at 6:49 PM ^
I couldn't believe how loud that stadium was on Washington's drive. That's a Washington home game. Did all the Huskies fans sell their tickets after the Stanford loss? Better not be like that vs OSU in November.
October 19th, 2019 at 7:02 PM ^
I noticed that too...place gets very loud but, that was the wrong time!
October 19th, 2019 at 7:34 PM ^
Kentucky and Georgia doing their best M00N game reenactment.
K00G at the half.
