Really? FEI has six Big Ten teams rated higher than the MAC's highest rated team (NIU). And only Illinois is ranked worse than #92; six MAC teams are lower than that. Purdue is better than half their conference at #92. Average Big Ten rating: 42. Average MAC rating = 82.
I'm not going to look at any other rating systems for further substantiation. The Big Ten is down this year. But it's easily better than the MAC.
They don't realize that there's this, like, lattice of coincidence that lays on top of everything.
