TomVH: Big Chill Visitors

Submitted by TomVH on

This will be the home of the list of visitors for the Big Chill this weekend. As always, it will grow and shrink as I confirm some names. Here's who I have so far.

  • IL OL Chris Bryant - Likely won't make a decision on this trip, although it's not out of the question. He has a few concerns with the coaching situation, and isn't sure when he wants to make his final decision.
  • MI DE Anthony Zettel - He will wait to make his decision likely until after Michigan makes theirs about the coaching situation.
  • MI LB Desmond Morgan - This may be his final visit before he decides. He has interest in Northwestern too, so they could get another visit. I wouldn't be surprised to see him make his decision shortly after this visit.
  • Commit OH OL Jack Miller
  • Commit MI OL Jake Fisher
  • Commit OH DL Chris Rock
  • 2012 MI DT Danny O'Brien
  • 2012 MI DL Matt Godin

Names have been moving on and off this list, so I'll keep updating as I hear more. If you have heard any names you would like me to confirm go ahead and throw them out there. I will try to confirm or deny them as fast as I can. This should be a pretty cool event for the recruits to attend, and I know they're all excited for it.

Prior to Dee's de-/re-/?- commitment, wasn't about half the team planning to visit for either the Big Chill or the weekend after for an official?  Is that still on?

Zettel and Bryant are maybe the two biggest recruits (figuratively) left on the board, we need to impress those guys even if they don't commit.

Also, Desmond Morgan would be a great addition, he's this year's Jake Ryan.

We have a solid DL coming back in 2011, but will need this guy ready to blend in by 2012.

Don't know what the recruits are really thinking but everything points to RichRod being back in 2011.

Sparty had their once-in-a-generation season and still got STUCK IN THE CITRUS BOWL, which is laughable.

I don't usually root for the Bucks, but sure did when they got in ahead of Sparty for the 2nd B10 BCS bowl.

Don't link to bleacher report. And don't get excited over that either, whomever wrote that clearly has no inside information at all.

Things wrong with the article:

A) UVA does not have a legitimate shot with Grant.

B) He never mentions OSU as a player, or LSU. Or UNC. Or even Virginia Tech.

C) It appears as though the one article he chose to read was an interview from Sam Webb on Scout. From GBW. And no others.
