MGoRadio 7.8: Migraines in Headspace
NOTE: The podcast version didn’t hit the feed until later tonight because I have to get to the basketball exhibition. Thank you to our special guest tonight: Former IU basketball player and NBA head coach Butch Carter

THE VIDEO
[After THE JUMP: the player and what we said]
--------------------------------------------
1. Indiana Offense w Alex Drain
They broke Penix, broke two of his backups, and broke the seal on a true freshman basketball convert who still looks like that. Still have some good receivers though.
2. Indiana Defense w Alex Drain
starts at 18:57
Not a particularly stout front except the one really good linebacker. Getting their injured cornerbacks back. Tom Allen is a good coach.
3. Michigan State After UFR
starts at 34:12
OTHER than the refs: Cade’s day stood up. He made most of his big throws on passing downs. Offensive line pass pro was very good. Barnhart iffy. MSU took away runs. Defense got weird: 5-1 and 6-1 got beat because there’s only one linebacker. Big plays are MSU’s jam. Rotation: learned lesson.
4. Basketball and NIL wsg Butch Carter
starts at 46:54
We have a new sponsor who’s going to be funneling money to the Men’s and Women’s basketball team and he used to coach in the NBA, and has some stories about Crisler when it was young as well.
MUSIC:
Tonight’s featured musician is my best friend Tres Crow, because it was handy and he’s great. From different points in his career.
- “As the Moon Sets”—Tres Crow
- “Paperback Writer”—Noble Three
- “Enos Mills (aka Rubber Tube)”–Oblivion
And because Sony bought Across 110th Street and slapped a claim on us, the opener and outro:
- “The Employee is Not Afraid”—Bear vs. Shark
- “Ruska Vodka”—Motorboat
If you or a friend made some good tunes and don't have a label out scrubbing for them we'd be happy to feature you.

I'll be glad when tomorrow comes and I can push the MSU game to the back burner with fewer reminders.

Bummer about the audio during the Butch Carter segment. Regardless, the man came well prepared.

Yeah, his internet connection decided to get spotty. I cleaned it up as best I could.
