2022 TE Marlin Klein Commits to Michigan Comment Count

Michigan received their third class of 2022 commitment this morning from three-star Rabun Gap (GA) Nacoochee School tight end Marlin Klein, who joins a strong (if small) tradition of Michigan Marlins.

Klein is in the upper tier of three-stars in his class, ranking 371st overall on the 247 Composite, good for #18 among tight ends. 247 itself also has him ranked #18 at tight end, while Rivals has him down at #40 in their position rankings and ESPN hasn't evaluated him yet.

There's good reason to believe Klein will move up those rankings. He's originally from Germany and has only been in the States for about a year, according to Rivals. In that short period of time, he's picked up offers from the likes of Georgia, Florida State, Virginia Tech, Nebraska, Michigan State, Louisville, and Purdue, among many others.

I'll have much more on Klein with a full Hello post tomorrow. There's no content after the jump.

Man, if he's the tight end equivalent of the previous Michigan Marlin, then I am a fan! Let's hope in a few years there are two dominant Germans on this squad
