Our own TomVH added his little take on the proceedings

Commitment might come soon RT @MikeDyer Michigan has offered Colerain senior FB Trayion Durham, according to Colerain coach Tom Bolden

For those of you who don't know, Trayion is a unanimous 3*, former Wiscy commit. Offered by Wiscy, Kentucky, Louisville, Minny, Cincy, BC, among others. Maybe Tom or someone can help me with this, but no word on whether or not MI FB Joey Kerridge still plans to walk on at M.

but its certainly time to give hoke, mattison and everyone else involved a big THUMBS UP! Not only have they saved the class, but theyve pulled out some remarkable coups and flips. if this is just the beginning, then imagine what the next few classes could look like after 9 or 10 wins in a season.

good job to the M coaching staff

Yes, I would like that.

I'm really excited to get back to a power running game.

EDIT:  I've said this before but if we don't get Rawls it's even more possible - I want to see Furman move to RB.  He was a dominant RB in high school, has sprinter speed and is 6'2" 210, could be 220 and keep his speed.  He would be like A-Train.

Could you imagine what this class would look like if Hoke and Mattison were hired before the bowl game or immediately follwing it? Wow. Potentially a top 10 class. Oh well, I'lltake  a good class this year and great classes for the next 10+ years.

but I have to wonder why the heck we are offering a scholarship to a fullback at this stage of the game...With the number of guys who we are still in on and the positions we still have a need to fill, I just can't fathom it.

Michigan does not have a true fullback on the team.  Moundros was pretty much it but he moved to LB. Why?  Because RichRod had zero use for a FB and when Michigan did use one, we know how that went.  Now that Moundros has graduated, its time to get a 'true FB' on the roster.

Living in Cincinnati, I've seen this kid play.  He is a man-child and Colerain plays against some of the best teams in the state.  You aren't going to see a lot of blocking because Colerain plays the triple-option.  He's either getting the ball or getting hit, hardly any lead blocking.

For being a Wisconsin commit earlier in the year, he was obviously doing something right because we all know how they run the ball.  This will be a big pickup for Michigan, he's a  B.J. Askew type player...

we may not have a fullback, but traditionally we would wait and get a decent walk-on rather than use a schoarship (espoecially when they are currently in such short supply) on a FB when we have other positions of greater need where the prospect of getting a good walk-on are very slim.
