|5 weeks 21 hours ago||strong finish||
Last year the staff had an amazing finish to the recruiting cycle and I am hoping for the same this year. If they can finish by landing Solomon, Becton and flipping Thorpe that would constitute an amazing finish to one of the highest rated classes in program history. The future is bright!

He was playing with very experienced OL and WR (not to mention Butt) that he will not have next year. That is what I meant by a "young team". The offense next season will have much less experience than this year's squad.

I wouldn't be surprised one bit if we see Peters starting at QB next year. Speight did a good job last season and was clearly better than O'Korn but is he really a guy who can lead a young team to BIG Ten title contention? Plus, Harbaugh recruited Peters and Speight is a Hoke recruit. My guess is Peters is the starting QB against Florida (even though I will most likely be wrong)

Is one of the most quotable movies of all time. My wife and I say "he's just nosing through the trash" pretty much every time our dog gets into something he shouldn't..
We have the RV christmas ornament hanging on the tree!

"Are you serious Clark?" Has to be Christmas Vacation.. One of the funniest movies I have ever seen. Already watched it 5 times this holiday season!

Just win baby - if we get back to our winning ways the top recruits will be kicking down the doors to play for Harbaugh

|2 years 6 weeks ago||Durkin's D||
To say I am beyond excited about Durkin running our defense with Mattison working on his staff would be understating my feelings.. I cannot wait to see what this defense will look like. Get ready for big time passion, intensity, recruits, and results.
This is going to be an all-star staff!
|2 years 6 weeks ago||smart decision||
I love the decision by Harbaugh to have a speacilized special teams coach (see what I did there!!). Special teams has been a soft spot of Michigan football for about 10 years.. Special teams is a huge part of the game and I can't wait to see the massive improvement pay off moving forward!
|2 years 6 weeks ago||growing up with #6||
Tyrone Wheatley is one of my all-time favorite Wolverines. I grew up watching his mix of size and speed and to this day I measure pretty much every college RB I see on what I call the "Wheatley Scale". I wore the #6 my whole sports life because of Tyrone.
So now that I got my cool story bro piece in, I think this would be a homerun hire at the RB position for Michigan. I would bet he will be a monster in the recruiting world based on his resume, name, and passion for Michigan. On top of recruiting I believe he will be a great teacher of the position. Guys like Derek Green and Ty Issac should take huge strides under Wheatley.
Keeping my fingers crossed that this goes official and Wheatley comes home!

Any news on Iman Marshall? I haven't heard much since the initial buzz around the hiring.
|2 years 9 weeks ago||streaming||
What I want to see is a map detailing where the streaming traffic is coming from... I have a feeling a lot of it may be coming from the Ann Arbor area.
|2 years 9 weeks ago||agreed||
I completely agree with you. Even though Cowherd can be an idiot and most of the time just takes stances to move ratings, he isn't far off on these comments. With that said, I don't think Hackett or Harbaugh would let it get to the point where the class is "unsavable".
Even if Harbaugh does not take the job, I can't imagine he would string Michigan along and set them back even further. There is no debate that Harbaugh still has love for Michigan so he won't want to put Michigan in a hard spot. I can't image that Harbaugh wouldn't have provide a yes or no by Christmas.
|2 years 9 weeks ago||Jim Mora||
I think Jim Mora is the real plan B option and I think that would be a great move for Michigan. I think if we wind up with Mora we would all wind up very happy 5 years from now.
Although at this point it doesn't seem like a plan B option may be needed. Where there is this much smoke, there is usually fire (except in 2007 with Miles of course).

As for the OP, normally scheduled presser - nothing to see here (except this GIF of course)
|2 years 10 weeks ago||Schiano||
At this point do you think the word that pretty much everyone in the fan base would freak if Schiano is hired has gotten to the athletic department? It really seems that the only hire that would piss everyone off would be Schiano so I hope to god the word has spread to the AD's office.
|2 years 10 weeks ago||Coaching Search||
This is the part of coaching searches that are so frustrating but also make them soo damn fun to follow. The amount of "reporting" by NFL and ESPN shows that Michigan is in fact an elite job still, which many ESPN talking heads will try to tell you it is not, and that Hackett is doing a fantastic job of playing things close to the vest. I have no doubt that Hackett will find the right coach for this program moving forward.
Good times to come
