CC: Rosenberg Contradicts Self, Ref: "Harbaugh Unlikely to Bolt"
This post is in reference to the below post about Rosenberg writing Harbaugh is unlikely to come to Michigan.
Today, Rosenberg ran an article stating the following:
So I expect this to come down to San Francisco or Ann Arbor. My gut says he ends up at Michigan, but I don't know.
As for his thoughts if Harbaugh turns Mich Down:
No, if Brandon offers the job and Harbaugh says no, it will be only because he likes the 49ers' opportunity more, or because something didn't feel right about the U-M regime.
He writes two articles/updates on the same day - this only says one thing.
Plain and simple, no one knows! Chillax peeps.

So Rosenberg's just making up allegations? Wow. I never knew someone from the local MSM would do such a thing. He must not be a very good person...

Rosenberg and the paper he works for mine as well be based out of Columbus (sorry to write that curse word on this family friendly site).
Remember when Herbie had breaking news on Miles? Surely Dave Brandon has this thing figured out...

Same quote in the title and everything.

I deem this...NOT THREAD WORTHY!
Add as comment in thread below. It's still a fresh one so people will probably see what you wrote and maybe give you a pos+ or two. But now you will be banged.

Or he could've actually read some of the comments in the thread below and seen that the link to both freep stories was already posted like 2 hours ago.

Rosenberg has fewer credible sources than a virgin has STDs. Moving along.

As of this morning, it is not fluid. I'd be absolutely shocked if Harbaugh ends up at Michigan now.

I hope "absolutely shocked" means "rendered unable to write about Michigan sports for the next decade"

to get on the UM jet and be in Palo Alto by noon.
His pitch needs to be personal, and he needs to bring the UM check book.

What's this U-M jet that keeps being mentioned? We have something besides the air ambulance?
Granted, if this keeps up I am going to consider the resolution of the coaching uncertainty a true personal medical emergency, but I don't know if the U would actually dispatch the jet on my behalf. Do we have something else in a hangar somewhere?

Makes use of both rotor- and fixed-wing aircraft:

Sure, all you have to do is look up to see those helicopters flying around. But I'm pretty sure we lease those. Doesn't U-M own an air ambulance jet? I thought that's what they sent to Haiti after the earthquake.
It also isn't clear to me if the U decided to own its own fixed wing aircraft for transplant runs after the Milwaukee crash (I know they considered it), and if so, is the air ambulance the result? Or is that a different aircraft?
In any event, I'm not guessing DB or MSC would use those to zip around on recruiting business. Which brings us back to the "U-M jet" that continues to be mentioned on MGoBoard.

Section1, where are you? This is your time. This is a solid chance to note a sports reporter reporting two opposite things within a week or so...and I'll agree with you 100%.

One thing to remember, as I have said a number of times. Rosenberg is smart. He's always been smart. Like, say, Dr. Evil. When he is one of the crowd, reporting rumors and feelings and somewhat self-effacingly saying, I can't say for sure, just like everybody else, he's being clever for the moment. He's saying what he absolutely has to say. He has content to fill on Freep.com pages, and it's all he's got.
What I said yesterday, was that if in the end Harbaugh is not secured, then Rosenberg is likely to go off on David Brandon. That "Harbaugh" was somehow a "blown opportunity."
I gotta say, too, that I don't much like being the one and only self-appointed sheriff to patrol the pages of the Free Press; I'd prefer to see others write the way I see here. Well done.

I don't trust Rosenberg's anonymous sources.
