Just a thought for fun...

Not sure if Pete Carroll would even consider Michigan but....

Let's say Rich Rod gets another year, then perhaps gets fired.  Pete Carroll will be a bottom feeder in the NFC West next year and anyone with a clue knows he left because of the USC scandal.  Carroll gets canned, and wishes to return back to college and Michigan could possibly be the highest profile job with the most recruiting power nest season.

Pete Carroll?

There are 120 FBS schools in America with 10 full-time coaches.

Of those 1200 coaches, let's say 500 are married.

Of those 500, let's say 100 of their spouses are cheating on their coach/husband.

Of those 100 "other men" let's say 10 have been to a Michigan football game.

OF those 10, let's say ONE has coached in one form or another, including "lego league"....  I'd take that one over Pete Carroll.

has a black mark on his resume for a complete lack of control of his program, including vacated wins, rescinded Heisman for Bush, etc.   I'm guessing Michigan will not touch Pete Carroll with a barge pole.

Ohio Stateon the hand, (where Carroll once coached) once Tressel steps down....hmmm.

That would make more sense then, in terms of wishful thinking (for Carroll to come to Michigan and bring on the death penalty by his mere presence.) Then again, I suppose if you were an MSU grad, you would really want Carroll to be your own coach, wouldn't you?

Stop thinking. With thoughts like these you will eventually end up hurting yourself. As Mark Twain said "its better to appear stupid than open your mouth and remove all of the doubt". You removed the doubt.
